Homogeneous reactorThe top and bottom are disc-shaped. The top cover is fixed with a flange shaped flange, and the bottom of the reaction vessel is welded to the shell. There are several open mixing rods, such as manholes and thermocouples, on the top cover.
Homogeneous reactorThe heating methods include:
a) Immerse the coil and heat it with hot oil.
b) Heat directly at the bottom using wood, coal, and fuel.
c) Use electric heating elements to heat the outer part or use circulating heat medium to heat inside the jacket.
Homogeneous reactorThe commonly used reactants in reactions are:
1. Heterogeneous mixing of liquid and solid reactants of appropriate particle size. In this situation, it is impossible to mix these materials * with the help of a mixer. Once the mixing force disappears, the solid material will precipitate to the bottom of the kettle, forming a layer of non-conductive material and exhibiting the following phenomena:
Due to the waste of materials and energy, it affects the ecological environment.
2. Waste of heat and time
3. Carbonized materials are wasted
4. Carbonization of solid reactants
5. Uneven polymer composition
6. Uneven polymerization reaction
7. The color of the mixture darkens
2. The mixing of liquids can be easily achieved through stirring or mechanical mixing, and the heat transfer of the reaction mixture is carried out through convection.
To avoid the above phenomena, the reaction materials can be added multiple times in two steps:
a) Firstly, add the liquid reactants to the reaction vessel and heat the medium temperature to slightly above the reaction temperature or the melting point of the solid reactants.
b) The second step is to slowly add the solid reactant while stirring continuously, allowing it to react or dissolve continuously to avoid precipitation. But this speed cannot be maintained, and sometimes precipitation and coking phenomena may occur. And it takes a long time to complete this reaction.
