AVDC is jointly initiated by international animal health partners, the University of Minnesota, Iowa State University, Kansas State University, South Dakota State University, University of Georgia, China Agricultural University, Nanjing Agricultural University and other well-known domestic and foreign universities and institutions. This conference is jointly organized by the Organizing Committee of the International Veterinary Testing and Diagnosis Conference, the School of Veterinary Medicine of China Agricultural University, the School of Veterinary Medicine of Nanjing Agricultural University, the School of Animal Science and Economics of Henan Animal Husbandry, and Shixin Trump International Exhibition (Beijing) Co., Ltd. It is co organized by the Pathology Equipment Branch of the China Medical Equipment Association, the Shenzhen Institute for Drug Inspection and Research (Shenzhen Medical Device Testing Center), the Experimental Pathology Public Welfare Network Learning Platform, the Key Laboratory of Animal Epidemiology of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and hosted by Beijing Shixin Xinghua International Consulting Co., Ltd.
As a highly influential and authoritative professional conference in the field of veterinary testing and diagnosis in Asia, this conference continues to uphold the purpose of "strong veterinary diagnosis, improving animal health and food safety". According to the organizing committee, the conference gathered 103 authoritative experts and industry elites from multiple countries such as China, the United States, Thailand, and Australia, presenting 111 themed reports and academic speeches to 1124 delegates, and featuring 90 wall posters for display.

At 8:30 am, the grand opening ceremony of the conference was held. Dr. Lei Ting, an international partner in animal health, first introduced the various situations of this conference. Wang Yang, Dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine at China Agricultural University, Ping Jihui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee (in charge) of the School of Veterinary Medicine at Nanjing Agricultural University, Ma Jun, Vice President of Henan College of Animal Husbandry and Economics, and Wei Zhanyong, Dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine at Henan Agricultural University, delivered speeches respectively, sharing their respective views on the key role of veterinary testing and diagnosis in animal disease prevention and control, public health and safety, and high-quality development of animal husbandry. Richard French, Chairman of the 7th International Conference on Veterinary Diagnosis and Testing, stated in his speech that veterinary diagnosis is the cornerstone of animal health and welfare, public health, food safety, and food security. This conference brings together young scholars and senior experts, as well as global wisdom and professional experience, to jointly promote the development of veterinary diagnosis.
After the opening ceremony, we will enter the theme presentation section, hosted by Dr. Aimin Liu from the University of Minnesota in the United States. Professor He Qigai from Huazhong Agricultural University systematically reviewed the current technological progress and clinical practice points of pig disease diagnosis under the topic of "Research and Application of Pig Disease Diagnosis Technology". Professor Jianqiang Zhang from Iowa State University gave an in-depth report on PRRSV molecular testing, strain genetic classification, emerging strains, antibody response, and prevention and control strategies.
Then we entered the hot topic segment, chaired by Professor He Qigai from Huazhong Agricultural University. Dr. David Williams from the Animal Disease Prevention Center of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Organization of Australia gave an academic presentation on the global epidemiology and diagnostic challenges of Japanese encephalitis virus; Dr. Douglas Gladue from Seeklabs introduced the CRISPR based treatment strategy for African swine fever; Dr. Derick Whitley from TRAVV explores the artificial intelligence ecosystem in veterinary clinical medicine.
After the theme report, the conference will hold 12 themed sub sessions on the afternoon of June 25th and the whole day of June 26th, covering multiple fields such as molecular diagnosis, virology/serology, foot-and-mouth disease diagnosis, microbiology, the transformation of applied research to practical veterinary diagnosis, new veterinary diagnostic technologies and artificial intelligence applications, and experimental pathology. Based on detailed case studies and in-depth analysis, the speaker delved into industry pain points and proposed targeted solutions.
