On June 24, 2026, the 7th International Veterinary Testing and Diagnosis Conference (AVDC) and the Asian Veterinary Equipment and Drug Exhibition were held at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. This conference is jointly organized by the Organizing Committee of the International Veterinary Testing and Diagnosis Conference, the School of Veterinary Medicine of China Agricultural University, the School of Veterinary Medicine of Nanjing Agricultural University, the School of Animal Science and Economics of Henan Animal Husbandry, and Shixin Trump International Exhibition (Beijing) Co., Ltd. It is co organized by the Pathology Equipment Branch of the China Medical Equipment Association, the Shenzhen Institute for Drug Inspection and Research (Shenzhen Medical Device Testing Center), the Experimental Pathology Public Welfare Network Learning Platform, the Key Laboratory of Animal Epidemiology of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and hosted by Beijing Shixin Xinghua International Consulting Co., Ltd. The conference aims to enhance animal health and food safety through strong veterinary diagnosis, gather global wisdom, and promote the high-quality development of veterinary testing and diagnostic technology. This conference will last for three days, with a series of activities including 10 pre conference seminars, 1 opening ceremony and theme report, 12 special sub sessions, and student oral presentations.

It is reported that this conference has invited 103 authoritative experts and industry elites from countries and regions such as China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Thailand, and Australia to deliver 111 themed reports and academic speeches, comprehensively showcasing the latest scientific research achievements and technological breakthroughs in the field of veterinary testing and diagnosis worldwide. The conference attracted more than 1000 delegates to gather in Zhengzhou, and the specifications and quality of the conference reached a new high.
On the first day of the conference, 10 pre conference seminars were held to conduct in-depth discussions on topics such as the diagnosis and vaccine development of African swine fever virus, long read and long target whole genome sequencing, immune detection technology mediated by advantageous antigen epitopes, prevention and control of H9N2 subtype avian influenza, and purification of chicken dysentery. The first special session on "Diagnosis of Companion Animals and Horse Diseases" was held at this conference, which focused on clinical hotspots such as feline infectious peritonitis, canine leishmaniasis, horse reproductive diseases, and horse tumor diseases. It sensitively responded to the booming development of China's pet economy and the increasing demand for companion animal health, marking an important step for the conference from traditional food animal disease detection to whole animal health management.
In order to strengthen the cultivation of high-level talents in the field of veterinary pathology, this conference has added the CL Davis Veterinary Pathology Training Certificate Program jointly organized by the School of Veterinary Medicine of China Agricultural University, the Experimental Pathology Public Welfare Network Learning Association, and AVDC. At the same time, the first International Training in Experimental Pathology will be held, with internationally renowned experts in experimental pathology as the keynote speakers. The training covers modules such as morphological diagnosis, histopathological analysis of tissues, pathological diagnosis of animal clostridial diseases, diagnostic ideas for tumors and inflammation, autopsy, and practical operation. It emphasizes both theory and practice, and has become an important extension of promoting professional talent cultivation beyond academic exchanges at this conference.

On the first day of the conference, a special oral presentation session for selected students was also held. Young students from domestic universities and research institutes such as China Agricultural University, South China Agricultural University, Huazhong Agricultural University, Yangzhou University, Northeast Agricultural University, Henan Agricultural University, Qingdao University, and the Military Medical Research Institute of the Academy of Military Sciences, as well as from Iowa State University in the United States, shared their innovative achievements on hot topics such as differential diagnosis of African swine fever, integrated application of tNGS and mNGS, and development of CRISPR detection platform. The poster display area is also exciting and diverse, with numerous research results presented in intuitive graphic and textual form, becoming an important window for academic exchange and technological collision.
The Asian Veterinary Equipment and Drug Exhibition will be held concurrently with the conference, attracting Huada Intelligent Manufacturing, Shengtong Intelligent Technology, and Dakewei Travv、 More than 60 well-known domestic and foreign enterprises participated in the exhibition, including Pudao Standard, Hunan Guanmu, Shanghai Mingjie, Jinnuo Baitai, Muyi Park, Hangzhou Borui, Lvshiyuan, Nearshore Protein, Guangzhou Yueyang, Longkuo Biotechnology, Shenzhen Yirui, Weibo Xin, Yinuokang, Jinmaishi, and Hexu Biotechnology. The exhibition covers the entire industry chain, including veterinary drugs, vaccines, animal protection products, veterinary CT, DR, gene sequencing, diagnostic testing reagents, laboratory equipment, information management systems, and more. On site, there are rapid detection equipment based on CRISPR technology, high-throughput sequencing and full process intelligent animal epidemic control solutions, portable imaging diagnostic systems based on artificial intelligence assisted interpretation, fully automatic nucleic acid detection workstations integrating sample preparation and real-time analysis, and a new generation of intelligent pathology and toxicity pathology overall platform. The concentrated appearance of these new products and technologies provides a one-stop solution from precise diagnosis to scientific prevention and control for breeding enterprises, pet medical institutions, and scientific research units.

On the morning of June 25th, the conference will hold an opening ceremony and keynote speeches. Several guests will give speeches on cutting-edge issues in the field of veterinary diagnosis. Hot topics will focus on the global epidemiological challenges of Japanese encephalitis virus, CRISPR based treatment strategies for African swine fever, and the construction of artificial intelligence ecology in veterinary clinical medicine. On the afternoon of June 25th to 26th, the conference will also hold multiple specialized sessions on molecular diagnosis, virology/serology, microbiology, the transformation of applied research into practical veterinary diagnosis, the application of new veterinary diagnostic technologies and artificial intelligence, experimental pathology, as well as a forum on career development and professional capacity building for young veterinary diagnostic workers.
This conference has gathered global wisdom and resources in the field of veterinary diagnosis, providing a high-level academic exchange and industry collaboration platform for the industry. It will effectively promote innovative breakthroughs and practical applications in veterinary diagnostic technology, and contribute positively to improving animal health and food safety capabilities.
