Recently, Beijing Beida Xianfeng Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Beida Xianfeng") successfully put into operation the second phase of 14000Nm ³/h pressure swing adsorption (VPSA) oxygen production equipment for Chifeng Yuanlian Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chifeng Yuanlian"), achieving stable oxygen supply. At this point, the total scale of VPSA oxygen production in Chifeng Yuanlian has reached 28000 Nm ³/h, significantly reducing the cost of oxygen enrichment in blast furnaces. Technological upgrades support energy-saving and carbon reduction goals, achieving both economic and environmental benefits.
Chifeng Yuanlian is equipped with one 1200m ³ and one 1280m ³ blast furnace, two 110T converters, and multiple production lines for medium width steel, cold-rolled galvanizing, and other sheet metal. In response to the national "Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction in the Steel Industry" special action plan, implementing a comprehensive conservation strategy, and further optimizing the oxygen cost of blast furnaces and the energy consumption structure of the entire plant, Chifeng Yuanlian has quickly launched the construction of the second phase of the project based on the significant benefits achieved by the first phase of the 14000Nm ³/h VPSA oxygen production project in cooperation with Peking University Pioneer in 2024.
It is reported that the second phase oxygen production equipment put into operation this time is consistent with the specifications of the first phase, both of which are 14000Nm ³/h VPSA oxygen production devices with a purity of 80%, supporting the oxygen enrichment production process of blast furnaces. The project leader of Chifeng Yuanlian stated that based on the actual oxygen demand of the two blast furnaces and the current operation status of multiple air separation systems in the factory area, the company has determined the process route after comprehensive technical and economic demonstration. "VPSA oxygen production technology has significant advantages such as short construction period, lower investment cost, and short investment return period. In addition, the stable operation performance and intuitive benefits of the first phase project have strengthened our confidence in continuing the cooperation. ”
In response to the issue of equipment operation stability and parameter detection accuracy that customers are closely concerned about, Peking University Pioneer has implemented precise measures in the scheme design phase. By increasing the redundancy design of the control system, the monitoring accuracy of key operating parameters has been greatly improved, providing solid technical support for the long-term stable operation of the equipment. Chifeng Yuanlian has listed the project as a key project and completed the civil construction with high quality ahead of schedule, effectively avoiding cross construction interference; Peking University Pioneer fully utilized its technological advantages and engineering experience, and made every effort to tackle and accelerate the project. The technical teams from both sides were stationed on site for joint debugging, ultimately achieving a 20 day advance in production compared to the original schedule.
The actual test data after the project was put into operation fully confirms the core value of upgrading oxygen production capacity. Based on the industrial electricity price standard of 0.35 yuan/kWh in Chifeng area, the original cryogenic air separation system in the factory area consumes about 0.28 yuan/Nm ³ of oxygen per unit. The oxygen cost of Peking University Pioneer VPSA oxygen production equipment has been reduced by more than 60% compared to it. The total scale of oxygen production in two phases is equivalent to 22400 Nm ³/h of pure oxygen, which can save more than 90000 yuan in oxygen production costs per day and achieve an annual cost reduction of 32 million yuan. At the same time, the total oxygen production capacity of 28000 Nm ³/h can accurately match the oxygen enrichment demand of the blast furnace, and the characteristics of convenient equipment start stop and flexible load adjustment further reduce the air separation and release rate of the entire plant to a lower level, providing strong support for the Chifeng Yuanlian * green manufacturing system.
As a gas separation field in the steel industryProfessional supplier, Peking University Pioneer, has provided large-scale VPSA oxygen production equipment for blast furnace oxygen enrichment in nearly 100 domestic and foreign steel enterprises. In the future, Peking University Pioneer will continue to use technological innovation as an engine to assist more traditional manufacturing enterprises in achieving production targets, energy conservation and carbon reduction, and jointly build a new ecosystem for green industrial development.
