On July 17-18, 2021, the "8th Member Representative Conference of the Laboratory Management Branch of the Chinese Society of Higher Education" was successfully held in Xining, sponsored by the Laboratory Management Branch of the Chinese Society of Higher Education and co organized by Qinghai University. More than 400 people from over 300 universities and enterprises, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, and Zhejiang University, attended the conference.
The agenda of this meeting is divided into two parts: the election of the branch council and academic exchanges. Zhao Jindong, the newly elected chairman of the Laboratory Management Branch of the Chinese Association of Higher Education and academician of the School of Life Sciences at Peking University, and Professor Jiang Enlai, Vice President and Secretary General of the Chinese Association of Higher Education, attended the conference. The conference was chaired by Liu Kexin, Secretary General of the Laboratory Management Branch of the Chinese Association of Higher Education and Minister of the Laboratory and Equipment Management Department of Peking University.
The Laboratory Management Branch of China Association of Higher Education carried out the work report of the seventh board of directors, commended the branch's seventh advanced collectives and exemplary individual in 2016-2021, and elected a new board of directors and supervisors.
In the academic exchange session, four senior laboratory management experts from Peking University, Zhejiang University, Jilin University, and Southeast University gave exciting and detailed exchange reports on the topics of "Progress in Life Sciences and Laboratory Construction", "Construction of University Laboratory Safety Responsibility System", "Reflection and Exploration on Managing University Instruments and Equipment under the New Situation", and "Research and Practice of Experimental Teaching and Laboratory Management in Universities".
