Avantes attends LIBS Summit 2019

On July 6-7, Avantes of the Netherlands participated in the LIBS Summit (LIBS Summit 2019) jointly sponsored by the China Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) Professional Committee of the Chinese Optical Engineering Society, the Department of Energy and Power Engineering of Tsinghua University, and the State Key Laboratory of Power Systems. Avantes showcased the AvaSpec Mini MK-II and AvaSpec-ULS2048/4096CL-EVO spectrometers.

AvaSpec Mini MK-II fiber optic spectrometer, equipped with 2048 or 4096 pixel CMOS detectors, has high transmission speed and high spectral response in ultraviolet and near-infrared, with a resolution of up to 0.1nm and low stray light of 0.2%. The fast response time enables its data transmission speed to be as fast as 4.6ms/amplitude, with an integration time of 30us-50s. AvaSpec Mini MK-II is mainly aimed at the OEM field and is used for the development of handheld spectroscopic application systems.

The AvaSpec-ULS2048/4096CL-EVO spectrometer uses our powerful AS-7010 circuit board, which provides USB 3.0 communication interface and data transfer speed 10 times faster than USB 2.0. It also has a Gigabit Ethernet interface, allowing customers to integrate the spectrometer into their company's internal network and perform long-distance data transmission. In addition to high-speed communication capabilities, the EVO spectrometer also has a faster microprocessor and a 50 fold increase in memory capacity, allowing customers to store more spectra and achieve more functions on the circuit board.

For applications that require high-resolution measurements over a wide spectral range, or applications that require synchronous measurements at multiple measurement locations or multiple spectral bands in process control, the AvaSpec multi-channel fiber spectrometer can meet your various needs. You can choose any type of spectrometer from Avantes' product manual to combine into a multi-channel spectrometer, ranging from the robust and flexible UV/visible spectrometer AvaSpec-ULS2048 to the thermoelectrically cooled near-infrared spectrometer AvaSpec-NIR2.5.
