Jacketed Pilot Plant ReactorsIt is the core equipment in the laboratory and pilot stage, with a high borosilicate glass double-layer kettle body as the core. The interlayer is filled with a thermal conductive medium to achieve precise temperature control. It can perform various operations such as stirring, reflux, distillation, concentration, etc. under normal/negative pressure.
Jacketed Pilot Plant ReactorsPrecautions for operation:
Equipment inspection: Before use, carefully inspect the glass of the reactor body for cracks, scratches, and other minor damages, check if the main frame is stable, and confirm that the stirring rod, temperature control probe, vacuum interface, and other components are installed correctly and not loose.
Cleaning equipment: Use a clean soft cloth dipped in an appropriate amount of neutral detergent to wipe the inside of the reaction vessel and stirring rod, removing dust and impurities. Subsequently, rinse with clean water multiple times to ensure there are no residual cleaning agents. After rinsing, open the kettle lid and let it dry naturally or wipe it dry with a clean soft cloth to keep the equipment dry.
Material preparation: Clarify the chemical properties of the materials required for the experiment or production, ensuring their compatibility with the reactor material. Strictly control the amount of material within a reasonable range according to the volume of the reaction vessel to avoid material overflow during the reaction process.
Installation and connection: Accurately install the mixing rod onto the mixing shaft, ensuring that it is vertically centered. Connect the temperature control system, vacuum system, and circulating liquid pipeline to ensure that the interface is tight and free of liquid or gas leakage.
Start the device: First, turn on the mixing system and adjust the speed to a low gear, observe whether the mixing rod runs smoothly and whether there is any abnormal noise. If the operation is normal, gradually increase the speed according to the reaction requirements. Subsequently, a constant temperature hot solution or coolant is injected through a double-layer glass interlayer to adjust the desired reaction temperature of the temperature control system.
Reaction process monitoring: Continuously observe the material status inside the reaction vessel and pay attention to changes in parameters such as temperature and stirring speed. If significant temperature fluctuations, abnormal mixing, or other unexpected situations are found, the equipment should be immediately suspended to investigate the cause.
End operation: After the reaction is completed, turn off the heating or cooling system to stop temperature control; Reduce the stirring speed and turn off the stirring system; Release the material after the temperature inside the kettle drops to a safe range; For solid materials, carefully disassemble the flange components to ensure that all materials are discharged.
Safety regulations: It is strictly prohibited to directly touch the glass of the kettle body with hands during equipment operation to prevent burns or low-temperature frostbite; Avoid using highly corrosive and oxidizing cleaning agents to clean equipment and prevent damage to glass and metal components; Clean the equipment thoroughly and disconnect the power supply when not in use for a long time to keep it dry and stored; Regularly maintain and inspect the equipment to ensure that all components are securely connected, and promptly replace worn parts.
