Gas liquid proportioner is a device used for accurate control and mixing of gases and liquids. It plays an indispensable role in various fields such as scientific research, industrial production, healthcare, environmental protection, etc., such as providing specific atmosphere environment for vacuum tube furnaces or glove boxes, gas shielded welding, metallurgy, chemical production processes, and medical special gas preparation.
Precautions for using gas liquid proportioner:
1. Follow the operating specifications: Gas adjustment must be carried out according to the ratio table and steps provided by the ratio cabinet manufacturer to ensure that gas and liquid can be mixed accurately in proportion and ensure the accuracy of the ratio.
2. Pay attention to the pressure range: The gas input pressure should be within the range that the proportioning cabinet can withstand. If the gas pressure is too high, it will damage the pressure controller of the equipment and have a negative impact on the accuracy of the gas proportioning. Therefore, close attention should be paid to changes in gas pressure during use to ensure that it is within a safe range.
3. Correct switching sequence: When shutting down the equipment, the input valve should be turned off first, and then the output valve should be turned off to protect the internal components from damage. This can effectively extend the service life of the equipment and reduce the probability of failure.
4. Pay attention to alarm indicators: The proportioning cabinet instrument is equipped with a gas alarm indicator light. Once the indicator light is on, immediately stop using the product. This may be caused by gas leakage or other abnormal situations, and should be promptly investigated and resolved before continuing to use.
5. Keep it dry and clean: During daily maintenance, the gas proportioning cabinet should be kept dry and clean, especially strictly prohibiting oil and grease from coming into contact with the proportioning cabinet to prevent danger caused by contact with the proportioning gas. Because grease may contaminate gases or liquids, affecting the accuracy of the ratio and even causing safety accidents.
6. Stable placement: The proportioning cabinet should be placed on a flat and level ground to avoid vibration. Vibration may cause internal components of the equipment to loosen or be damaged, thereby affecting the normal operation and proportioning accuracy of the equipment.
7. Regular calibration: Gas flow meters should be calibrated at least once a year and also after maintenance. The calibrated flow rate should include several commonly used flow points, and the most recent calibration records should be saved. This helps ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurement data.
8. Special case handling: If other fuel guns share the same vacuum pump with the tested fuel gun, the gas-liquid ratio detection should be carried out without sealing the other fuel guns to avoid mutual interference and affecting the detection results.
9. Safety precautions: When using a gas-liquid proportioner, necessary personal protective equipment such as gloves, goggles, etc. should be worn to prevent injury caused by accidental contact with chemicals. At the same time, it should be used in a well ventilated environment to avoid harmful gas accumulation that can harm human health.
