Introduction to the structural composition of electric gate valves

Electric gate valveIt is a fluid control device widely used in industrial pipeline systems, which controls the flow of fluid inside the pipeline through electric drive. It has the advantages of low fluid resistance, reliable sealing performance, wide applicable pressure and temperature range, strong medium adaptability, flexible operation mode, and long service life.

Electric gate valveThe structural design directly determines its performance and lifespan, and the core components include:

Valve body and valve cover:

Sealing structure: Adopting pressure self tightening sealing or valve body/valve cover gasket sealing to ensure no leakage under high pressure conditions.

Material selection: Depending on the temperature and corrosiveness of the medium, carbon steel (room temperature, non corrosive medium), alloy steel (high temperature, high pressure), or stainless steel (strongly corrosive medium) can be selected.

Gate and valve seat:

Double gate with universal top structure: The gate is composed of two plates connected by a universal top in the middle, which can automatically adjust the sealing surface fit with the valve seat, compensate for manufacturing errors and thermal deformation, and improve sealing performance.

Hard alloy sealing surface: The valve disc and seat sealing surface are made of cobalt chromium tungsten hard alloy plasma spray welded, which has high hardness, wear resistance, abrasion resistance, and a lifespan 3-5 times longer than ordinary materials.

Valve stem:

Nitrided steel material: The valve stem has undergone nitriding treatment, resulting in high surface hardness, abrasion resistance, and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for frequent opening and closing conditions.

Anti jamming design: The valve stem and gate are connected by threads or T-shaped grooves to avoid jamming caused by medium scaling or thermal expansion.

Electric actuator:

Multi functional control: integrated torque control mechanism (to prevent overload damage), on-site operating mechanism (manual/electric switching), and intelligent control module (supporting 4-20mA signal input and output, PLC remote control).

Protection function: It has overload protection, overheating protection, and limit protection to ensure the safe operation of the equipment.
