  Swing check valveMainly composed of valve body, valve cover, valve disc, and rocker arm. The valve disc is disc-shaped and rotates around the pin shaft outside the valve seat channel. It can be used in various media such as water, steam, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid, strong oxidizing media, and urea, mainly applied in industries such as petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, and power. Its working principle:
When the medium flows forward, under the action of fluid pressure, the valve disc rotates around the pin axis to open, allowing the medium to pass through; When the medium stops flowing or flows in the opposite direction, the valve disc closes under the action of its own weight and the reverse fluid pressure, preventing the medium from flowing back.
Advantages and Applicable Scenarios:
1. Advantages of low flow resistance: The flow channel inside the valve is designed in a streamlined manner, resulting in a small pressure drop when the fluid passes through, making it particularly suitable for large-diameter pipelines and chemical process pipelines that require low resistance losses. For example, in oil and gas transportation, its flow resistance is only 60% -70% of that of lift check valves.
2. Installation flexibility: Supports horizontal, vertical, or inclined installation. When installing vertically, it is necessary to ensure that the flow direction of the medium is from bottom to top. This characteristic makes it widely used in space limited scenarios such as water treatment and boiler feedwater systems in the power industry.
3. Sealing performance trade-off: The sealing performance under low pressure conditions is weaker than that of lift check valves, but it can meet the requirements of high pressure differential scenarios such as steam pipelines through auxiliary springs or heavy hammer structures.
Installation precautions:
  Swing check valveGenerally, it is preferred to install on horizontal pipelines, but it can also be installed on vertical pipelines where the medium flows from bottom to top inside the pipeline. During installation, the flow direction of the medium must be consistent with the flow direction indicated on the valve, and it should be ensured that the medium inside the pipeline is clean and free of hard particles to avoid damaging the sealing surface.
