Attention to details when using transparent threaded sample bottles
Date: 2025-07-26Read: 0
Transparent thread sample bottleIt is a widely used consumable in laboratory and industrial analysis, mainly used for sample collection, storage, transportation, and pre-treatment before analysis. Its transparent material facilitates observation of sample status, and the threaded design ensures sealing, making it suitable for various analytical techniques such as gas chromatography (GC), liquid chromatography (HPLC), mass spectrometry (MS), etc.
Transparent thread sample bottlePrecautions for use:
1. Cleaning and drying: Before use, the sample bottle should be thoroughly cleaned to remove impurities and residual substances, avoiding contamination of the sample. After cleaning, drying treatment should be carried out, which can be done by natural air drying or air drying. However, it should be noted that the drying temperature should not be too high to avoid damaging the sample bottle.
2. Correct selection of bottle caps and gaskets: Choose appropriate bottle caps and gaskets based on experimental requirements and sample properties. Bottle caps and gaskets of different materials and specifications have varying sealing performance and chemical compatibility. For example, when analyzing certain special samples, bottle caps with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) gaskets are required to ensure good sealing and chemical stability.
3. Avoid over tightening: When tightening the bottle cap, pay attention to moderate force to avoid over tightening causing damage to the cap or bottle body, which may affect the sealing performance. At the same time, do not loosen too much to avoid sample leakage.
4. Storage conditions: When storing sample bottles, attention should be paid to avoiding direct sunlight, high temperatures, humidity, and other environments. They should be stored in a dry, cool, and well ventilated place. For some special samples, they also need to be stored at low temperatures or refrigerated according to their requirements.
