The cleanliness, transparency, and structural integrity of the fully automatic biochemical analyzer reaction cup, as the core consumable for carrying samples and reagents and completing photometric detection, directly affect the accuracy of absorbance readings. Whether it is a reusable quartz/hard plastic cup or a high-precision disposable colorimetric cup, if stored improperly, it is highly susceptible to dust, microbial growth, scratches, or electrostatic adsorption, leading to background elevation, cross contamination, and even detection failure. Therefore, establishing standardized and scientific storage methods for fully automated biochemical analyzer reaction cups is a key step in ensuring the reliability of test results.

1、 Cleaning and drying are prerequisites for storage
For reusable products, they must be dried after a specialized cleaning procedure (usually containing alkaline cleaning agents, acidic neutralizing solutions, and ultrapure water for final cleaning). It is recommended to use hot air drying (60-70 ℃) or vacuum drying. Natural drying is strictly prohibited to avoid the formation of water stains and marks. Although disposable reaction cups are packaged aseptically, those that have not been used up after opening must also be stored according to regulations and should not be exposed to open environments.
2、 Special container storage to prevent secondary pollution
The cleaned reaction cup should be immediately placed in the original clean storage box or dedicated dust rack, and the material should be anti-static and corrosion-resistant medical grade plastic. Do not use ordinary paper boxes, metal trays, or exposed stacking to avoid introducing fibers, metal ions, or causing collisions and scratches. The storage box should come with a sealed lid and an independent card slot inside to ensure that each reaction cup is separated and fixed to prevent friction.
3、 Environmental control: constant temperature and low humidity, avoiding light and dust
The storage area should be a dedicated consumables room that is clean, dry, and well ventilated, with a temperature controlled between 15-25 ℃ and a relative humidity of ≤ 50%. It should be kept away from water sources, heat sources, and direct sunlight. Long term exposure to ultraviolet or sunlight may cause plastic cups to age and turn yellow, affecting the absorbance of short wavelengths such as 340nm. At the same time, the environment should be kept away from equipment such as centrifuges and pipettes that are prone to producing aerosols, in order to reduce particle settling.
4、 Classification management and expiration tracking
Store reaction cups of different batches and materials (such as UV transparent and ordinary) in different zones, and label them with the cleaning date, sterilization status (if applicable), and expiration date. It is recommended to set a usage limit for reusable cups (such as 50-100 times) and establish a usage ledger; Disposable cups strictly follow the expiration date indicated on the packaging and are prohibited after expiration.
5、 Usage specification: Clean operation, ready to use
Wear clean gloves or use powder free finger cots when using to avoid hand oil contamination of the cup wall. After being removed from the storage box, it should be quickly loaded into the instrument turntable to reduce exposure time to air. If there is a pause midway, the unused cup should be returned to the sealed box and not placed on the experimental table.
