Core working principle of aerobic fermentation tank
Date: 2025-09-16Read: 2
Aerobic fermentation tankIt is a device that utilizes aerobic microorganisms to decompose organic waste in an oxygen rich environment and convert it into organic fertilizers. It has advantages such as high efficiency, environmental protection, and energy conservation, and is widely used in agriculture, environmental protection, and other fields.
  Aerobic fermentation tankCore working principle:
Aerobic fermentation tanks are based on the principle of aerobic microbial metabolism, and accelerate the decomposition of organic matter by optimizing conditions such as oxygen, temperature, and humidity. The key processes include:
Oxygen supply
Continuous delivery of oxygen into the tank through bottom or sidewall ventilation holes, high-pressure vortex air pumps, and other equipment ensures efficient decomposition of organic matter by microorganisms under aerobic conditions.
Some equipment uses a spiral blade or paddle mixing system to evenly distribute oxygen and avoid anaerobic environments by flipping materials.
temperature control
In the early stage of fermentation, microbial activity raises the temperature to 40-50 ℃, activating the activity of the bacterial strain.
Mid fermentation stage: High temperature stage (55-65 ℃), kills pathogenic bacteria and weed seeds, while accelerating the decomposition of organic matter.
Late stage of fermentation: Cool down to room temperature, complete material decomposition, and form stable organic fertilizer.
The temperature control system is linked with sensors and heating/cooling devices to maintain a suitable temperature range.
Humidity regulation
The ventilation system and exhaust system work together to exhaust the waste gas generated by fermentation (such as CO ₂, water vapor), while adjusting the humidity inside the tank to prevent the materials from being too wet or too dry.
Microbial action
The fermentation strains (such as Bacillus, actinomycetes, etc.) inoculated in the tank decompose organic matter under sufficient oxygen conditions, producing heat, CO ₂, and water, ultimately converting organic waste into decomposed fertilizers.
