About Liao Honggang, Founder of Chaoxin Xin

1. Title/Honors: Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Xiamen University, recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, National High level Introduced Talent, and Minjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor.

2. Research direction: Development of in-situ electron microscopy technology and its application in material synthesis, electrocatalysis, energy storage and conversion processes.

3. Academic achievements: An early pioneer in in-situ electron microscopy technology, independently developed multiple in-situ electron microscopy chips and analysis systems, published over 100 papers in top journals such as Science and Nature, and obtained more than 60 patents/software works; In 2023, the "Interface Charge Storage and Aggregation Mechanism of Lithium Sulfur Batteries" was selected as one of the "Top Ten Scientific Advances in China".

4. Academic positions: Member of the Expert Committee of the China Energy Society, Member of the Professional Committee on Polymer Material Analysis Technology and Characterization Methods of the Chinese Chemical Society, etc.
