Installation steps for flammable and toxic storage cabinets
Date: 2025-09-02Read: 1
Storage cabinet for flammable and toxic materialsAll cabinets are made of 1.2mm cold-rolled steel plates, and the cabinet base is made of 2.0mm cold-rolled steel plates. The inner and outer surfaces are coated with acid washed phosphating epoxy resin powder and cured by baking heat treatment. Hinge: piano style hinge, ensuring the door can open 180 degrees. Install fireproof expansion seals between cabinet doors and cabinets, and the seals should comply with the requirements of GB16807/2009. An environmentally friendly thermal expansion sealing strip should be installed between the cabinet door and the cabinet. When the temperature reaches 150 ℃/180 ℃, the sealing strip will expand locally, and when the temperature reaches 750 ℃, the sealing strip will expand completely, with an expansion ratio of 1:5, to ensure storage safety
Classification and color identification:
Flammable storage cabinet:
Color: Yellow (internationally recognized), used for flammable liquids with a flash point ≤ 37.8 ℃ (such as ethanol, gasoline, acetone).
Material: Double layer 1.2mm cold-rolled steel plate, 38mm fireproof cotton insulation layer, with explosion-proof ventilation openings.
Toxic substance storage cabinet:
Color: gray or porcelain white, used for highly toxic chemicals such as arsenide.
Security configuration: electronic password lock+mechanical lock dual control, PP inner liner anti-corrosion, independent exhaust system.
Installation steps:
Positioning and fixation:
Use a spirit level to determine the position of the cabinet, mark the expansion bolt holes, and drill holes.
After installing the cabinet, check the uniformity of the door seams (≤ 3mm) to ensure sealing.
Ventilation and grounding:
Connect the explosion-proof ventilation system, install filters and pressure reducing valves (pressure 0.2-0.8MPa).
Grounding resistance ≤ 100 Ω, regularly check and record.
Safety signs:
Post "flammable" and "toxic" warning labels and a list of chemicals.
External fixed risk notification card for cabinet (including emergency contact information).
Debugging and acceptance:
Functional testing:
Check the double lock linkage function of the cabinet door and the effectiveness of the leak proof tray (maximum container capacity ≥ 110%).
Simulate leakage scenarios and verify the availability of emergency kits (absorbent materials, chemical resistant gloves).
Personnel training:
Operators need to master the hazardous characteristics of chemicals and emergency measures.
