Meeting Background

Xinjiang is located inIn the core area of the "the Belt and Road", its unique geological conditions (such as frozen soil, saline soil, eolian sand and high intensity seismic zone) pose a serious challenge to geotechnical engineering. Geotechnical testing technology, as a key tool in geotechnical engineering research, plays an irreplaceable role in ensuring engineering safety and optimizing design.

This seminar will bring together top experts, scholars and engineering technicians at home and abroad to carry out in-depth exchanges around special soil testing technologies such as frozen soil, saline soil, eolian sand, and new geotechnical testing equipment, and jointly explore geotechnical solutions under complex geological conditions along the "the Belt and Road".
