In the fields of chemical and pharmaceutical industries, the precision of temperature control devices for reaction vessels directly affects product quality and process safety. Its installation and debugging must follow scientific procedures to ensure stable and efficient operation of the system.
1、 Preparation in advance: equal emphasis on planning and inspection
Before installation, it is necessary to select suitable temperature control equipment (such as electric heating/circulating cooling units) based on the reaction kettle process parameters (such as temperature control range, heat load, medium characteristics), and check the equipment list and accessory completeness. The installation area needs to be cleaned on site to ensure that the foundation is flat, the load-bearing capacity meets the standard, and maintenance space is reserved; At the same time, check the size and sealing surface status of the reactor interface (such as temperature measurement port, inlet and outlet) to avoid installation deviation.
2、 Mechanical installation: precise positioning and reliable connection
1. Main body fixation: Fix the temperature control host (such as heating furnace, chiller) on the preset foundation, calibrate it with a level, and tighten the bolts evenly to prevent vibration deviation.
2. Pipeline connection: Lay thermal conductive medium pipelines (such as thermal oil and water ethylene glycol) according to the design direction, and prioritize flange or welding connections to eliminate the risk of leakage; Install brackets at bends to reduce stress, and cover high and low temperature pipelines with insulation layers.
3. Instrument connection: Insert the temperature sensor (thermocouple/thermistor) into the temperature measuring port of the reaction kettle, ensuring that the temperature sensing end is in full contact with the medium, and the signal line shielding layer is grounded at one end to prevent interference; The wiring between the control cabinet, host, and sensors needs to be protected by conduit and clearly labeled.
3、 Electrical and system integration: from power on to linkage
1. Power on test: Check that the power supply voltage matches the rated value of the equipment, start each pump unit and heating/cooling module, observe for any abnormal noise or overheating, and confirm that the emergency stop button function is effective.
2. Parameter calibration: Input the target temperature curve through the control cabinet interface, simulate the heating/cooling process, compare the sensor feedback value with the standard meter reading, and correct the zero and range errors (accuracy needs to be ≤± 0.5 ℃).
3. Linkage verification: Start the automatic temperature control mode, set the step temperature change (such as 50 ℃ → 100 ℃), monitor the system response time (usually ≤ 10 minutes) and overshoot (≤± 2 ℃); Simulate power outage and restart to verify the program's self recovery capability.
4、 Acceptance and delivery: Data speaks for long-term effectiveness
After debugging is completed, run continuously at full load for 72 hours, record temperature fluctuations, energy consumption and other data, and issue a calibration report; Train users on the key points of operation and maintenance (such as regular cleaning of filters and replacement of aging seals), keep wiring diagrams and parameter backups, and ensure long-term stable operation of the device.
The installation and debugging of temperature control devices is a system engineering where "details determine success or failure". Only by rigorously executing each step can we build a solid foundation for process safety.
