How to ensure the purity and quality of tin when making tin bags
Date: 2025-05-31Read: 24

Welding and Sealing

Welding: For some tin bags composed of multiple parts, they need to be connected together by welding. The commonly used welding method is tin soldering, which uses low melting point tin wire to melt and fill the connection part under heating, so as to firmly bond the various parts of the tin bag. During welding, attention should be paid to controlling the welding temperature and welding time to avoid overheating that may cause deformation or damage to the tin material.
Sealing: If the tin bag is used to store specific items, its sealing needs to be ensured. After welding is completed, seal the opening of the tin bag or areas where there may be gaps. The opening can be sealed with sealant or by rolling, folding, or other methods to prevent external air, moisture, or other substances from entering the tin bag and affecting the quality of stored items.
surface treatment
Polishing: In order to make the surface of the tin bag smooth and beautiful, polishing treatment is usually carried out. Mechanical polishing methods can be used, such as polishing wheels, sandpaper, etc., to polish the surface of the tin bag, remove scratches and defects, and make it shiny. Chemical polishing or electrolytic polishing can also be used to achieve a smooth and shiny surface of the tin bag through chemical reactions or electrolytic reactions.
Anti corrosion treatment: Although tin has a certain degree of corrosion resistance, anti-corrosion treatment can be carried out to further improve the service life of the tin bag. For example, passivating the surface of tin bags to form a dense passivation film can effectively prevent chemical reactions between tin and oxygen, moisture, etc. in the air, slowing down the corrosion rate. In addition, a layer of anti-corrosion coating, such as varnish, can also be applied to the surface of the tin bag to provide protection.
quality inspection
Appearance inspection: The main inspection is to check whether the appearance of the tin bag meets the design requirements, whether the surface is smooth, without obvious scratches, bubbles, sand holes and other defects, whether the color is uniform and consistent, and whether the shape is regular. For tin bags with special decorations or patterns, the completeness and accuracy of the decoration should also be checked.
Dimensional measurement: Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc. to measure the key dimensions of the tin bag, such as diameter, length, thickness, etc., to ensure that its dimensional deviation is within the allowable range. For some high-precision tin bags, more precise measuring instruments such as coordinate measuring instruments may be required.
Sealing test: If the tin bag has sealing requirements, a sealing test is required. The pressure testing method can be used to fill the tin bag with a certain pressure of gas or liquid, and then observe whether there is any leakage phenomenon; Vacuum testing method can also be used to place the tin bag in a vacuum environment and observe whether there is air entering to determine whether its sealing is good.
The above are the general production processes and methods for tin bags. The specific production process may vary depending on the different uses, shapes, and precision requirements of the tin bags.
