The following is an introduction to the working principle and usage points of zero level air sources:
working principle
1. Preprocessing stage: The air is first filtered through a high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter to remove large particles, and then through a refrigerated dryer or coalescing filter to remove moisture and oil mist. Some equipment will also use potassium permanganate filters to remove nitrogen oxide (NO → NO ₂) and preliminarily remove organic matter through activated carbon adsorption.
2. Catalytic conversion stage: Pre treated air enters the catalytic reactor, and under high temperature conditions, hydrocarbons (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO) are oxidized by the catalyst to carbon dioxide (CO ₂) and water vapor (H ₂ O). This process relies on platinum palladium supported catalysts, and the operating temperature is usually set at 375 ℃.
3. Deep purification stage: After catalysis, the air is once again adsorbed with residual impurities through activated carbon or molecular sieves, and disinfected with ultraviolet light or ozone to enhance hygiene and safety. The final output gas must meet the zero level standard with a total hydrocarbon content of less than 0.1ppm.
4. Voltage stabilization and monitoring: The equipment is equipped with a built-in voltage stabilization system (including pressure sensors and regulating valves) to maintain stable output pressure. The microprocessor monitors the flow rate, temperature, and purity indicators in real time, and triggers an alarm in case of abnormalities.
Key points for use
1. Preliminary preparation
-Environmental requirements: The equipment should be placed in a dry and ventilated area, away from heat sources and corrosive substances, with reserved heat dissipation space. External air compressors need to be equipped with oil-water separators to prevent oil contamination of the system.
-Installation specifications: Remove the transportation fixing device and check the sealing of the pipeline; Priority should be given to using stainless steel or PTFE pipes to avoid the precipitation of organic matter from plastic pipes.
2. Start debugging
-Self check and initialization: After power on, complete the self check program and confirm that the indicator light is normal; Gradually adjust the pressure to 0.4 MPa and observe the stability of the compressor's start stop cycle.
-Pre cooling of refrigerated dryer: Activate the adsorption tower after the dew point temperature meets the standard, and start the activated carbon bed, molecular sieve and other components in sequence.
3. Operation management
-Real time monitoring: Pay attention to the exhaust purity monitor data, with a focus on hydrocarbon compounds (THC), moisture, and particulate matter indicators. When any indicator approaches the warning line, immediately switch to the backup channel and troubleshoot.
-Regular maintenance: Replace activated carbon (20-40 grit pencil lead type) every 1000 working hours; Clean the air inlet filter; The frequency of manual drainage depends on humidity.
4. Response to special scenarios
-Long term shutdown and restart: first blow off residual impurities in the pipeline, and then gradually increase the pressure for testing.
-Investigation of sudden drop in flow: prioritize clearing the condensate drainage pipe, and then check the saturation of the filter.
-Purity fluctuation positioning: Using segmented isolation method to close a certain level of filtering module and quickly lock down failed components.
5. Safety protection
-Electrical safety: equipped with 8A fuse to cope with the peak instantaneous current of the compressor; Regularly check the moisture resistance of the insulation layer of the circuit.
-Emergency measures: Set up an emergency stop button to deal with overpressure or leakage; Dispose of waste filter cartridges according to hazardous waste regulations.
Zero level air source achieves air purification through the core path of "adsorption catalysis stabilization", and its precise application needs to run through the entire process of selection, operation and maintenance to ensure the reliability of high-precision experimental data.
