What aspects are related to the results of the sampling tube aging analyzer
Date: 2025-11-12Read: 0
The results of the sampling tube aging analyzer are influenced by multidimensional factors. The following analysis is conducted from four dimensions: core parameter control, sample characteristics, equipment performance, and operating standards:
1、 Core process parameter setting
Accuracy of temperature control
The aging temperature needs to be dynamically adjusted according to the type of adsorbent: a single adsorbent is usually set at 20 ℃ above the analytical temperature or 10 ℃ below the operating temperature; When filling with multiple adsorbents, low temperature resistant adsorbents should be used as the reference. Temperature deviation can lead to incomplete impurity removal or adsorbent pyrolysis, for example, exceeding the temperature limit can damage the structure of the adsorbent.
Carrier gas flow rate and purity
The flow rate of the carrier gas needs to be higher than the conventional flow rate of thermal analysis to effectively remove residual pollutants. It is recommended to use high-purity nitrogen gas (≥ 99.999%) to avoid interference from oxygen or moisture during the aging process. Unstable flow may lead to local overheating or insufficient cleaning.
Time configuration optimization
The basic aging time is 2 hours, but it needs to be adjusted according to the actual situation, including: ① a longer aging time is required for the first use; ② After use, it needs to age for a longer period of time; ③ After analyzing samples with higher concentrations, trace residues may not have a significant impact on the samples; After analyzing low concentration samples, trace residues have a significant impact on sample analysis, therefore requiring longer aging time.
2、 Sample and adsorbent characteristics
Adsorbent composition and loading process
When multiple adsorbents are mixed and filled, if the temperature difference is too large (such as>50 ℃), it is easy for the filling layer to crack due to differences in expansion coefficients, resulting in airflow short circuits. It is recommended to choose a combination of adsorbents with similar temperature resistance characteristics, and the packing density should be uniform to avoid channeling.
3、 Equipment performance and maintenance status
Accuracy of temperature control system
The uniformity of the heating module directly affects the axial temperature distribution of the adsorption tube. Experiments have shown that when the power deviation of the heater is greater than 5%, the temperature difference between the two ends of the adsorption tube can reach ± 8 ℃, resulting in excessive aging in some areas and insufficient aging in others.
Taking into account the above factors, optimizing parameter settings, strengthening equipment maintenance, and standardizing operating procedures are the core strategies to ensure data reliability.
