Power AnalyzerThe usage method is as follows:
1、 Preparation before use
Confirm measurement requirements: specify the power parameters that need to be measured, such as voltage, current, power, power factor, etc., and whether advanced functions such as harmonic analysis and waveform display are required.
Choose the appropriatePower AnalyzerSelect a power analyzer with appropriate range, accuracy level, and functionality based on measurement requirements. Consider factors such as the frequency range, dynamic range, and the need for real-time analysis of the measured signal.
Check the status of the instrument: Check whether the appearance of the power analyzer is intact, without damage or cracks. Confirm if the battery level (for portable instruments) or power connection (for desktop instruments) is normal. For newly purchased or long unused power analyzers, it is recommended to perform preheating or calibration operations.
2、 Connection and Settings
Connecting sensors: Connect the voltage sensor and current sensor correctly to the circuit under test. Ensure that the connection is secure and free from looseness or short circuits. For situations where multiphase circuits need to be measured, each phase sensor needs to be connected separately.
Set measurement parameters: Set the measurement parameters of the power analyzer according to the measurement requirements, such as range, sampling rate, filter settings, etc. For situations that require harmonic analysis, appropriate harmonic order and resolution should be set.
Configure display and storage: Configure the display mode (such as waveform display, numerical display, etc.) and data storage mode (such as internal storage, external storage, etc.) of the power analyzer as needed.
3、 Operation and Testing
Start measurement: After confirming that all settings are correct, start the measurement function of the power analyzer. At this point, the power analyzer will begin to collect real-time voltage and current signals, and perform calculations and processing.
Observation of measurement results: During the measurement process, observe the display results of the power analyzer, including real-time values and waveform diagrams of parameters such as voltage, current, and power. For situations that require harmonic analysis, data such as harmonic spectrum and harmonic content can be viewed.
Record and analyze data: Record measurement data as needed and conduct subsequent analysis and processing. Power analyzers usually support data export function, which can export measurement data to computers or other devices for further analysis.
4、 Post use maintenance
Disconnect: After the test is completed, first disconnect the power analyzer from the sensor, and then disconnect the sensor from the circuit being tested.
Cleaning and maintenance: Use a clean cloth or cotton yarn to wipe the housing and sensor interface of the power analyzer to remove oil and dust. Avoid using corrosive cleaning agents or solvents to wipe the surface of the instrument.
Storage and Preservation: Store the power analyzer in a dry, ventilated, and non corrosive gas environment. Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures, humidity, or strong electromagnetic interference. For power analyzers that are not used for a long time, it is recommended to conduct regular power on inspections and maintenance.
