Three dimensional relocationThe coordinate measuring machine, also known as the three coordinate measuring machine, plays a crucial role in the precise measurement of mechanical parts. Correctly mastering its usage is essential for obtaining accurate measurement data.
1、 Preparation before startup
Before starting the relocation, it is necessary to ensure that the environment in which it is placed meets the requirements. The ambient temperature should be relatively stable, generally within a suitable range of room temperature, to avoid measurement accuracy being affected by temperature fluctuations. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure that there are no vibration sources around, such as staying away from large stamping equipment that may generate vibration. In addition, check whether the power wiring is secure, whether the air pressure supply (if there are pneumatic components) is normal and stable, and gently wipe the workbench and probe of the machine with a clean soft cloth to prevent dust and other impurities from affecting subsequent measurements.
2、 Workpiece clamping
Place the workpiece to be measured on the worktable of the 3D moving machine and select the appropriate clamping method based on the shape and size of the workpiece. If the workpiece is a small regular block shaped part, it can be firmly fixed using magnetic or mechanical fixtures; If it is a complex shaped large component, specialized support blocks and pressure plates may need to be used for clamping to ensure that the workpiece does not move or shake during the measurement process, but also to ensure that the clamping force is moderate to avoid deformation of the workpiece due to excessive clamping, which may affect the accuracy of the measurement results.

3、 Establish a coordinate system
This is an important step in using a 3D mobile phone. Generally, manual or automatic methods can be used to select several feature points, lines, or surfaces on the workpiece as reference elements, and use probes to contact these reference elements and input corresponding coordinate values and other information, allowing the machine to establish a three-dimensional coordinate system based on this reference. For example, for a rectangular workpiece, two edges of one corner and one face can be selected as a reference to construct a coordinate system, so that other dimensional parameters measured later can be accurately calculated based on this unified coordinate system.
4、 Measurement operation
After establishing the coordinate system, measurement can begin. The operator controls the probe to touch various parts of the workpiece that need to be measured by manipulating the handle or software interface. For example, to measure the diameter of a hole, the operator controls the probe to make multiple contact samplings along the inner wall of the hole in different directions; When measuring the flatness of a plane, let the probe touch it on the plane according to a certain grid pattern. The machine will record the coordinate data of the probe contact point in real time and calculate the corresponding dimensional parameters such as length, angle, roundness, etc. based on this data.
5、 Precautions
During use, it is necessary to avoid collisions between the probe and the workpiece, especially when moving the probe. The path should be observed first to prevent damage to the probe and workpiece surface. After the measurement is completed, the machine should be cleaned and maintained in a timely manner, the debris on the workbench should be cleared, and the probe should be checked for wear and tear. And it is necessary to regularly calibrate the three-dimensional moving machine to ensure that its measurement accuracy always meets the requirements.
In short, only by strictly following the correct usage methods and paying attention to various precautions, can the three-dimensional moving machine fully play its role and provide accurate data support for quality inspection of mechanical parts.
