The drive related faults of Sanfeng roughness tester are mostly reflected in components such as motor, drive module, and transmission structure,
Often manifested as abnormal probe movement, driver errors, etc., the following is a detailed explanation of the driver maintenance technology combined with its mainstream models, taking into account fault localization and practical repair:
The driving system of Sanfeng roughness meters such as SJ-310, SJ-412 and other models is used to control the movement of probes
The core of ensuring measurement accuracy is often related to mechanical transmission, circuit connections, and module damage. The following are targeted maintenance plans.
1. Probe movement is stuck/stopped halfway
This is a high-frequency fault in the drive system, often caused by dust accumulation on the guide rail, insufficient lubrication, or problems with the transmission belt.
When repairing, first turn off the power, clean the foreign objects on the guide rail with a soft brush, wipe it with anhydrous ethanol, and then apply Sanfeng special lubricating grease;
Check if the drive belt is loose or aged, and replace it with a belt of the same specification if it is aged.
If the measuring needle stops halfway for models such as SJ-410, you can enter the driver operation interface, long press the left arrow to return the detector to the starting point, and turn on the automatic return function to restore it.
If there is still resistance when manually pushing the probe, it may be due to deformation of the guide rail and needs to be sent for precision correction.
2. Driver Error 1/Driver Error 3
This type of error often points to abnormal connection of the driver/detector device.
First, disconnect the power supply of the instrument, unplug the connection wire between the driver and the monitor, check if the interface pins are oxidized or damaged, clean them with a cotton swab dipped in anhydrous ethanol, and then re plug them in tightly;
If the connecting cable is damaged, the original factory compatible cable needs to be replaced. If the error persists after reconnection, it may be due to an internal circuit fault in the driver module,
At this time, it is not recommended to disassemble it by oneself. Professional personnel should be contacted to inspect the power supply circuit and communication chip of the driver module. If damaged, the same model of driver module should be replaced.
3. The motor has no response/no sound when starting
Malfunctions are often caused by power supply or connection issues with the drive.
First, check if the drive plug is securely plugged in, and then unplug and plug the socket again; Use a multimeter to check the power supply voltage of the motor. If it is lower than the rated value,
It is necessary to check whether the internal fuse is blown and replace it with the original 250V, 5A specification fuse. If the motor still does not respond, it may be due to the motor itself burning out or a fault in the motor drive chip,
Disassemble the instrument to separate the motor and transmission structure, replace the stepper motor with the same power, or repair the motor drive chip.
4. "Beyond detection range" drive associated fault
When displaying this prompt, in addition to probe issues, it may also be due to abnormal origin positioning of the drive unit.
First, long press the left arrow on the driving part to return the detector to the origin, adjust the measurement starting position to the starting point of the driving range, and turn off the R-plane compensation;
If it is invalid, set the measurement range to "Auto" mode and verify the equipment with a flat workpiece. If the error persists, check the position sensor of the drive unit,
Clean the dust on the surface of the sensor, recalibrate the sensing parameters, and replace the sensor directly if it is damaged.
5. Drive unit failure caused by collision
After the instrument falls or the probe collides, the driving part is prone to misalignment.
If the SJ-220 model may have abnormal sensing strips, first unplug the measuring needle and disassemble the drive part to check whether the internal mechanical structure is offset, and manually calibrate and reset the transmission components;
Reinstall the measuring needle, calibrate with a standard sample block, and confirm that parameters such as Ra are within the error range. If the outer shell or internal gears of the drive unit are damaged, the corresponding mechanical parts need to be replaced, and the whole machine accuracy calibration must be completed after replacement.
Precautions after maintenance
After repair, it is necessary to calibrate with corresponding standard blocks to ensure that parameters such as Ra and Ry meet the standard error requirements of JIS/DIN.
In daily maintenance, it is necessary to clean and lubricate the drive guide rail every month to avoid dust accumulation and wear; Handle the instrument with care when moving it,
Prevent the driving part from being impacted and extend the service life of the driving system.For complex faults such as damage to the precision circuit of the drive module, it is recommended to contact professionals to avoid secondary damage caused by self repair.
