Troubleshooting method for perspective pressure reactor
Date: 2025-09-28Read: 0
High pressure perspective reactorIt is a chemical reaction equipment that operates intermittently to observe the reaction process. The components in contact with the reaction medium can be made of various corrosion-resistant metals, which have good corrosion resistance during the reaction process. The device adopts a static sealing structure, and the agitator and motor are connected by a magnetic stirring system, which has excellent sealing and stirring effects.
Application areas:
Chemical research: such as CO ₂ supercritical reactions, phase equilibrium experiments, multiphase behavior observations, etc.
Industrial catalysis: high-pressure and high-temperature processes such as hydrogenation reactions and polymerization reactions.
New material development: supercritical foaming, preparation of TPU microporous materials, etc.
Common types and causes of faults:
Abnormal pressure:
Reasons: valve leakage, seal failure (such as mechanical seal end face deformation or packing wear), improper temperature control (such as insufficient cooling leading to side reactions), or severe material reactions (such as incorrect feeding ratio).
Case: A pharmaceutical company needs to replace its mechanical seal ring with corrosion-resistant fluororubber material due to improper material selection, resulting in leakage under high pressure.
Sealing leakage:
Packing seal: Corrosion of the mixing shaft, blockage of the oil circuit, or failure to tighten the gland.
Mechanical seal: Deformation of the dynamic and static ring end faces, reverse installation of the sealing ring, or excessive vertical error of the axis.
Shell damage:
Corrosion: Excessive chloride ions in the insulation layer (such as water seepage from damaged aluminum silicate fiber insulation cotton) can cause pitting corrosion.
Cracks: caused by thermal stress or alkali embrittlement, requiring stress relief after welding.
Abnormal noise:
Friction accessories of the mixer (such as snake tubes), loose or damaged bearings.
Troubleshooting methods:
Abnormal pressure:
Check the self-control system and repair the instrument malfunction; Urgently release pressure and standardize feeding operations.
Regularly replace seals (such as double line sealing structures that need to be checked every 6 months).
Sealing leakage:
Packing seal: Adjust the position of the oil ring and replace the worn mixing shaft.
Mechanical seal: Reinstall the sealing ring to ensure the smoothness of the end face.
Shell maintenance:
Repair welding of corrosion-resistant materials (such as titanium alloy) in corroded areas; Use chlorine free materials for the insulation layer.
Noise elimination:
Tighten the mixer bolts and adjust the distance between the mixing shaft and accessories.
