Customer Case Study: Application of Automatic Weighing and Packaging of Metal Powder in Alloy Material Research

Research Background

RESEARCH BACKGROUND

Explore key materials for the future! The research on alloy materials is leading a technological revolution, bringing infinite possibilities to our lives. Its application prospects are very broad, whether in aerospace, automotive manufacturing, electronic products, renewable energy or medical fields, high-performance alloy materials are the core driving force for progress. With the rapid development of technology, the demand and performance requirements for alloy materials are constantly increasing. Researchers are committed to developing more high-performance, low-cost, and environmentally friendly new alloy materials to meet the ever-changing application needs.
For the researchers at the Alloy Materials Research Laboratory, a customer of Jingtai Technology, accurate weighing of metal powders is an important factor affecting their research. Throughout the study, metal powder weighing faced various challenges, such as powders with poor fluidity, electrostatic adsorption, environmental factors, and potential safety risks.
To meet the challenges, the customer chose to use ChemPlus technology from Jingtai Technology ® Desktop solid sampling instrument is used to ensure the accuracy of metal powder sampling and weighing, providing a solid foundation for alloy material research.
During the alloy material research experiment, the customer selected three representative metal powders and set three target sample amounts of 50/1000/2000mg. ChemPlus was recorded ® The desktop solid sampler measures the weighing data of different powders at different target sample amounts, including average sample value, sample deviation, and sample time.
Testing powder samples: 3 types (due to research confidentiality, specific powder names are not displayed. For customers with similar needs, Jingtai Technology provides free testing services for samples, please contact us); Target sample sizes: 50mg, 1000mg, and 2000mg; each powder sample is packaged into customized experimental vials.

After comprehensive analysis of the test data, we have come to the following conclusion: ChemPlus ® The desktop solid sampler exhibits high accuracy and stability in weighing three representative metal powders in alloy material research. The specific performance is as follows:

In conclusion, ChemPlus ® The desktop solid sampling instrument has demonstrated high efficiency and reliability in accurately controlling the metal powder sampling process, and is suitable for weighing metal powder samples in alloy material research.

Conclusion

CONCLUSION

ChemPlus ® It can effectively handle metal powders that absorb moisture, have poor flowability, and are prone to oxidation. During the testing process, it showed good operability and no blockage occurred, indicating its wide applicability and ability to meet diverse experimental needs.
When conducting sample weighing, ChemPlus ® The deviation of all predetermined target weights was controlled within a precise range of 0.1mg, reflecting its excellent weighing accuracy.
When performing mid-range sampling operations, ChemPlus ® Being able to achieve the target sample addition at a faster speed, demonstrating high friendliness and fast and accurate weighing ability.
ChemPlus ® The system is placed in a glove box for operation, which can smoothly perform the automatic sampling and weighing task of metal powder C, and supports integration with other systems.
ChemPlus ® This compact desktop solid sampling instrument helps customers in alloy material research laboratories improve the efficiency, accuracy, and safety of metal powder sampling and weighing, saving valuable research time for researchers. ChemPlus ® Widely applicable, supporting multiple solid raw materials and compatible with different receiving containers, without the need for manual supervision, automatically completing repetitive and time-consuming weighing and solid sampling operations; Meanwhile, ChemPlus ® Automated powder sampling technology can process a variety of powders, covering moisture absorbing agglomerates, larger particles, fluffiness, and poor flowability powders. It has an adaptive powder addition algorithm and intelligent recognition of multiple types of powders, without the need to set or optimize sampling parameters for specific powders; Automated high-throughput sampling to avoid direct contact between researchers and powders that may be toxic or flammable. In this customer case, we also customized exclusive experimental vials and trays for the customer; And it supports integration into the glove box of the anhydrous and anaerobic system.
