Pneumatic button battery sealing machine is a device powered by compressed air to package button batteries. It is mainly used for sample production in laboratory battery material research and development, as well as small-scale trial production in factories.
The pneumatic button battery sealing machine is mainly used for packaging and sealing button batteries (such as lithium batteries, silver oxide batteries, etc.) to ensure that the electrochemical components of the battery are safely sealed, prevent leakage, and ensure long-term stability and reliability.
The pneumatic button battery sealing machine drives the sealing mold through a cylinder or pneumatic device to squeeze and seal the battery. The specific process is as follows:
Battery placement: Place the assembled battery semi-finished products (positive, negative, electrolyte and other components have been placed in the battery case) into the positioning groove of the lower mold, with the negative electrode facing upwards, ensuring that the electrode is not offset from the case.
Pressure application: Activate the pneumatic system, drive the upper mold (pressure head) downward with compressed air, and simulate the shape of the cover plate to apply pressure to the battery. The pressure range is usually 0.4-0.8MPa, which can be adjusted through manual valves or electric control panels.
Sealing molding: The shape of the mold cavity matches the battery, and under pressure, the battery shell and cover plate are tightly pressed together to form a sealed structure. Some models are equipped with heating elements, which stabilize the sealing temperature at 180-220 ℃ through a PID temperature control system, and activate the sealing material (such as sealant) to bond it to the battery case.
Demoulding inspection: After the sealing is completed, the upper mold rises and the battery is taken out for airtightness testing (such as helium mass spectrometer leak detector detection leak rate ≤ 1 × 10 ⁻⁹ Pa · m ³/s) to ensure the sealing quality.
Advantages:
Efficiency: Pneumatic drive has fast response speed, quick action, and can package dozens to hundreds of batteries per minute, suitable for assembly line operations.
High precision: The battery packaging height is controlled by a high-precision positioning ring limit, with a tolerance controlled within ± 0.05mm, ensuring consistent sealing dimensions.
Easy to operate: With a high degree of automation, operators can easily get started after simple training, reducing labor costs.
Compact structure: Small footprint, suitable for various production environments such as laboratories and factories.
Easy maintenance: Reasonable design, simple daily maintenance, and convenient replacement of key components such as cylinders and molds.
Safe and reliable: equipped with pressure sensors, height detection, visual system, etc., real-time monitoring of sealing quality, automatic removal of defective products.
