Working Principle:

Sample preparation: Inject a certain amount of the oil to be tested into the testing container of the instrument (usually a glass tube), and place it in a constant temperature water bath to precisely control the oil temperature at the specified temperature.

Air mixing: through the pneumatic system of the instrument, a certain pressure and flow of compressed air (or nitrogen) is introduced into the oil after constant temperature, and the oil is stirred violently to make it evenly mixed with a large amount of air to form a stable foam oil mixture.

Release timing: after the ventilation is stopped, the instrument automatically starts timing, and simultaneously monitors the volume change of foam in the oil in real time through the optical sensor.

End point determination: when the sensor detects that the foam volume decreases to 0.2% of the initial volume, record the required time, which is the air release value of the oil.
