The air release tester is a specialized instrument used to detect the air release capacity in petroleum products such as lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, etc. Its inspection and maintenance work directly affects the accuracy of test results and the lifespan of the instrument. The following is a detailed inspection and maintenance guide:
1、 Daily inspection and maintenance of air release measuring instrument:
1. Cleaning and hygiene
External cleaning of the instrument:
Wipe the instrument casing with a soft cloth to avoid the accumulation of oil and dust.
Regularly clean the display screen, buttons, and other parts with alcohol or specialized cleaning agents.
Test slot cleaning:
After each test, clean the test tank with a solvent (such as petroleum ether) to prevent sample residue.
Check and clean the overflow hole and drainage pipeline to ensure there are no blockages.
2. Power supply and circuit inspection
Power stability:
Check if the power supply voltage meets the requirements.
Confirm that the grounding wire connection is reliable and avoid static interference.
Line connection:
Check if the wiring of components such as sensors, heaters, and mixers is loose or aged.
Regularly use a multimeter to check the continuity of the circuit and replace damaged cables.
3. Inspection of key components
Pressure sensor:
Check for air leakage at the sensor interface and replace the sealing ring if necessary.
Calibrate the zero point of the sensor (follow the instructions) to ensure measurement accuracy.
Heating system:
Check whether the heating plate or heating tube is uniformly heated to avoid local overheating.
Clean the heating surface to prevent oil stains from adhering and affecting thermal conductivity.
Mixing device:
Check if the mixing blade is flexible to avoid jamming or wear.
Lubricate the motor bearings (once a year) to prevent rusting.
4. Software and Control System
Power on self-test:
After turning on, check if the instrument has entered self-test mode and confirm that there are no fault prompts.
Test whether the touch screen or button response is normal.
Software update:
Regularly check the firmware or software updates provided by the manufacturer and fix potential vulnerabilities.
Data backup:
Export test data to a USB drive or cloud to prevent accidental loss.
2、 Regular maintenance of air release measuring instrument (monthly/quarterly):
1. Maintenance of pressure system
Airtightness testing:
Close all valves, fill the system with low-pressure nitrogen or dry air, and observe if the pressure gauge is stable.
If there is a leak, check the valve, joint, and sealing ring and replace them.
Safety valve calibration:
Check if the opening pressure of the safety valve meets the set value.
Send it to a professional organization for verification once a year.
2. Calibration of temperature control system
Temperature accuracy:
Use a standard thermometer to compare the temperature displayed by the instrument, with an error of ≤± 0.5 ℃.
If the deviation is significant, calibrate the PID temperature control parameters or contact the manufacturer for repair.
Heating uniformity:
Place multiple thermometers in the testing slot and check the temperature difference at different locations.
3. Mixing and circulation system
Pump body inspection:
Check if the circulation pump is running smoothly and if there are any abnormal noises or vibrations.
Clean the inlet filter of the pump to prevent impurities from clogging.
Mixing speed calibration:
Use a tachometer to measure the speed of the mixing blade, with an error of ≤ ± 5 RPM.
