The Hangzhou high and low temperature test chamber is the "touchstone" of product quality and reliability, widely used in many fields such as electronics, automotive, aerospace, and new materials. It verifies the product's tolerance under harsh conditions by simulating temperature environments. However, this precision equipment itself also requires careful care. Scientific and standardized maintenance is not only the key to ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test data, but also a wise move to significantly extend the service life of equipment and reduce overall operating costs. Here are some practical maintenance tips.
1、 The 'little effort' in daily operations
Good usage habits are the first line of defense for device longevity.
1. Maintaining cleanliness is fundamental: After each test, wipe the interior of the workshop with a soft cloth to remove any debris, oil stains, or other contaminants remaining in the test samples. The exterior of the box should also be kept clean to avoid dust blocking the air vents and affecting heat dissipation.
2. Standardized placement of samples: The test sample should not block the air circulation channel inside the box, and should maintain a certain distance from the inner wall to ensure smooth air circulation. For flammable, explosive, and volatile samples, it is absolutely forbidden to test them inside the box.
3. Gently open and close the box door: Opening and closing the box door is a daily high-frequency action. When operating, it should be done gently to avoid violent impact that may cause deformation of the sealing strip or damage to the door lock. During equipment operation, unless necessary, try to minimize the opening time and frequency to prevent significant temperature fluctuations and increase the load on the compressor and heater.
4. Standardized start stop: Strictly follow the operating procedures. After shutting down, do not immediately restart. Wait for 5-10 minutes for the compressor pressure to balance, otherwise the sudden high load will seriously damage the compressor.
2、 Deep physical examination for periodic maintenance
In addition to daily care, regular deep maintenance is crucial.
1. Cleaning of condenser and filter screen (monthly/quarterly):
Condenser: This is the "radiator" of the equipment. Long term operation will accumulate a large amount of dust and willow catkins, seriously affecting the heat dissipation efficiency, leading to high pressure alarm and decreased cooling capacity of the compressor. Regular cleaning should be carried out from top to bottom using compressed air or a soft bristled brush. For air-cooled equipment, ensure that there is sufficient heat dissipation space around it (recommended to be greater than 60cm).
Circulating fan blades: Regularly inspect and clean the centrifugal rotor to ensure its balance and absence of dust accumulation, in order to ensure temperature uniformity inside the box.
2. Inspection and maintenance of sealing strips (every six months):
The sealing strip of the box door is the core that ensures the isolation of the environment inside the box from the outside world. Check for softness, elasticity, cracking, aging, or deformation. You can wipe it with a clean soft cloth and apply a small amount of talcum powder to maintain its elasticity and sealing performance. If loose sealing is found, it should be replaced immediately.
3. Maintenance of humidification system (for wet and hot equipment):
Humidified water tray: This is the "hardest hit area" of scale. It is recommended to clean once a month to remove scale and impurities, to prevent them from blocking the water supply pipeline or damaging the water level sensor.
Water storage tank: It is necessary to use purified water or distilled water, and it is strictly prohibited to use tap water. The minerals in tap water can produce a large amount of scale, which not only affects the humidification effect but may also damage the humidifier. Regularly clean the water tank to ensure clean water quality.
4. Professional inspection of core components (annually):
It is recommended to have a comprehensive inspection conducted annually by professional engineers, including:
Circuit inspection: Check whether the main power supply, contactors, relays, and other electrical connection points are loose or aging.
Refrigeration system: Check if the compressor is operating normally, if there are any leaks in the refrigeration pipeline, and if the refrigerant is sufficient.
Sensor calibration: The accuracy of temperature and humidity sensors may drift over time and should be calibrated regularly to ensure the accuracy of test data.
3、 Long term inactive 'sleep strategy'
If the equipment needs to be idle for a long time, protective measures must be taken.
1. Cleaning: Clean the inside and outside of the box thoroughly and air dry it.
2. Power outage protection: Cut off the main power supply.
3. Dust prevention measures: Cover the equipment with a dust cover.
4. Regular start-up: It is recommended to power on the compressor once a month for about half an hour to allow the lubricating oil in the compressor to circulate to all components, preventing precision components from getting stuck or aging due to long-term inactivity.
