Explosion proof online viscometerWidely used in industries such as petroleum extraction, refining, chemical engineering, silicone oil, resin, food, synthetic fibers, inks, paints, optical fibers, latex, solvents, plastics, glass, aviation kerosene, and various adhesives.
Working principle:
Vibration measurement: By using the electromagnetic oscillation waveform attenuation method, the resistance change of the fluid to the vibrating body is detected, and the viscosity value is calculated. This method has no moving parts and is suitable for high shear rate fluids.
Temperature compensation: Integrated temperature sensor, synchronously outputs viscosity and temperature data to ensure stability under extreme working conditions.
Abnormal measurement data (such as distorted viscosity values and large fluctuations):
Sensor contamination or wear:
Phenomenon: Data drift, poor repeatability (such as an error of ± 0.3% or more).
Reason: Fluid crystallization, particle adhesion, or wear of 316 stainless steel/PTFE coating.
Solution: Regularly clean the sensor (refer to the cleaning method of capillary viscometer: wash 3-4 times with distilled water and remove scale with neutral detergent); The sensor needs to be replaced due to severe wear and tear.
Temperature compensation failure:
Phenomenon: The viscosity value fluctuates abnormally with temperature (such as deviation above ± 0.5 ℃).
Reason: Temperature sensors (such as Pt100) are aging or have loose wiring.
Solution: Use a multimeter to measure the sensor resistance (approximately 100 Ω at room temperature), replace damaged components, and recalibrate the PID parameters of the temperature controller.
Maintenance suggestion:
Regular calibration: Use standard Newton oil calibration to verify the 4-20mA output signal.
Environmental monitoring: Avoid high temperature (>85 ℃), high humidity (>95% RH), or strongly corrosive environments.
Explosion proof inspection: Focus on checking the explosion-proof surface, grounding wire, and sealing, and record the maintenance log.
