MAC Valve was founded in January 1948 under the name Mechanical Air Control, with a capital of 2000 US dollars. In 1962, the company name was changed to MAC VALVES INC

In 1964, MAC solenoid valves began to implement the MAC solenoid valve policy of unconditional quality assurance for all their MAC solenoid valve products for 18 months. MAC solenoid valves printed this guarantee on their samples, and MAC solenoid valves were distributed in every corner of the world to emphasize the quality of MAC solenoid valve products. So far, no other manufacturer of MAC solenoid valves has printed an 18 month warranty on the MAC solenoid valve samples.

In 1971, MAC Valve Europe was established in Belgium as a subsidiary of MAC Valve Company.

In 1971, the Japanese government approved a manufacturing contract between MAC Electromagnetic Valve Company and SMC Corporation, in which MAC transferred technology to SMC Corporation and authorized SMC to produce electromagnetic valves in Japan. Meanwhile, SMC serves as the agent for MAC Valve Company in the Asia Pacific region. SMC was previously a manufacturer of filters.

In 1972, Mac solenoid valves had sold one million valves. Five years later, the number of Mac solenoid valves had doubled compared to the past. By 1977, the sales of Mac solenoid valves had exceeded two million.

In 1984, MAC Valve Pacific Company was established in New Zealand, and MAC solenoid valves are also a branch of MAC Valve Company, responsible for the sales and service of MAC solenoid valves in the Asian and Australian markets.
