The dust test chamber is mainly used to simulate dust and sand environments, test the dust resistance and sealing performance of products, and is suitable for quality inspection of automotive components, electronic components and other products.
Centrifugal fan is the main energy source for dust movement. The high-speed operation of the fan blades draws dust into the fan. Due to the centrifugal force of the fan blades, the dust enters the dust pipeline and is sprayed into the test chamber from above, passing through the sample at a speed greater than 2 meters per second. The lower part of the test chamber is funnel-shaped, and the precipitated dust slides into the filter mesh at the lower part. Through the vibration of the vibration motor, the dust smaller than the diameter of the filter mesh is sucked in by the centrifugal fan, and this cycle repeats. In addition, a vacuum pump can be used to evacuate the sample, simulate the negative pressure environment in actual use, and test the dust resistance of the sample.
structural characteristics
Box material: The inner wall is usually welded with mirror stainless steel material to ensure that it will not rust during long-term use. The outer wall is sprayed with steel plate, which is beautiful and durable.
Observation window: The front end of the box door is equipped with an observation window and a dust wiping wiper, which facilitates the observation of the sample during the testing process.
Dust circulation system: The bottom funnel is equipped with a ball valve switch for easy dust replacement. The test chamber wall is equipped with an air dust filtration assembly to maintain atmospheric pressure balance between the inner and outer boxes, while allowing dust to circulate inside the test chamber.
Control system: Adopting a microcomputer programmable logic controller, supporting parameter settings such as dust prevention time, vibration time, temperature, etc. Equipped with safety systems such as over temperature leakage protection and phase sequence protection to ensure the safety and reliability of the testing process.
main purpose
Automotive component testing: including dust and dust resistance tests on components such as headlights, instrument panels, electrical dust covers, steering systems, door locks, etc., to verify whether their protection levels meet the standards.
Industrial product testing: used to test the sealing and durability of electronic and electrical devices, optical instruments, and other products in dusty environments.
Air filter evaluation: Evaluate the dust filtration performance of the air filter by quantitatively adding dust and monitoring the filtration effect.
Dust test chambers are widely used in industries such as automotive parts, electronics and appliances, military and aerospace, building materials, packaging, and logistics to test the dust resistance, sealing, and durability of products in dusty environments.
