※ Precautions and wiring for using explosion-proof transmitters
1.The transmitter housing is equipped with an external grounding, which must be reliably grounded when used by the user.
2.If explosion-proof isolation is required, the transmitter should be used in conjunction with a safety barrier
3.The use of safety barriers should comply with the relevant user manual
4.The connecting cable between the transmitter and the intrinsic safety end of the safety barrier is a two core shielded cable with a core wire cross-sectional area greater than 0.5mm. The cable allows a distributed capacitance of 0.08 μ F and a distributed inductance of 2mH. One end of the cable shielding wire is connected to the safety barrier busbar.
5.The installation, wiring, and maintenance of products should strictly comply with the electrical safety regulations for explosive hazardous areas in the People's Republic of China.

6、 Adjustment
1.Zero point verification
Drain the solution to be tested from the conductivity cell. If it is difficult to drain, close the shut-off valve and remove the transmitter from the flow cell. At this time, the electrode is exposed to the air, and the theoretical conductivity is zero. The transmitter output should be 4mA. Otherwise, adjust the zero potentiometer and correct the deviation (see wiring diagram). If the deviation cannot be eliminated, it indicates that the electrode is severely contaminated and should be cleaned.
2.Full range calibration
Standard solution conductivity method: At this point, the transmitter is in its usual measurement state (when the user is sampling and measuring a solution with known conductivity). For example, if the conductivity of the solution is known to be 10 μ s/cm, the nominal value of the corresponding signal can be calculated to be 16mA · DC. By adjusting the full potentiometer, the error displayed on the instrument can be corrected.
7、 Installation of transmitter
During installation, if the medium solution in the pipeline is not fully filled, the outlet shut-off valve should be adjusted to fill the pipeline with the medium solution before entering the measurement state. The installation method is shown in the diagram:

8、 Transmitter put into operation
After completing the required calibration, open the shut-off valve to ensure that the measured solution is filled in the conductivity cell, and the transmitter can enter the measurement state. Please note that the transmitter must be covered with a terminal cover before being put into operation, and it is not allowed to operate without a cover for a long time.
9、 Electrode maintenance
Pay attention to the electrode area to avoid damage caused by collision. When cleaning the electrode, close the shut-off valve, cut off the power supply of the transmitter, remove the transmitter from the conductivity pool, and according to the contaminated area and degree of the electrode, use a soft brush or degreasing cotton to scrub the electrode stains, remove impurities and dirt, clean it with clean water, and then put it back into the conductivity pool.
