It's not just about packaging, explore how drug packaging residual oxygen meters can protect your health!

Drug packaging residual oxygen analyzerIt is an instrument used to detect residual oxygen content in drug packaging. During the packaging process of drugs, residual oxygen can affect the quality and stability of the drugs, and may lead to drug deterioration or failure. Therefore, accurate detection of residual oxygen content in drug packaging is crucial. The working principle is to use electrochemical sensing technology to determine the presence and content of oxygen by measuring the potential changes on the electrode surface. This instrument has the advantages of high sensitivity, fast response, and high accuracy, and can be widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, cosmetics, etc.
Drug packaging residual oxygen analyzerThe main characteristics are:
1、 High precision and wide range detection
Multi technology fusion sensor
Using electrochemical sensors (generating current signals through oxygen reduction reactions, with current proportional to concentration) or optical sensors (using fluorescence quenching principle, oxygen quenches fluorescence signals, and calculates content through changes in light intensity) to ensure detection accuracy.
Detection range: Covering 0% to 100% oxygen concentration, some high-precision models can detect trace amounts of oxygen as low as 0.001%, meeting the strict requirements for extremely low oxygen content in drug production (such as antibiotics, vaccines, and other easily oxidizable drugs).
Accuracy index: Oxygen detection error is usually controlled within ± 0.1%, and dissolved oxygen detection accuracy can reach ± 25ppb, meeting strict quality control standards.
Fast response and stability
Response time: Most instruments complete a single measurement within seconds, suitable for real-time monitoring of high-speed production lines.
Long term stability: Optical sensors are maintenance free and have a long lifespan, reducing detection interruptions caused by sensor replacement; Although electrochemical sensors require regular replacement of electrolytes or units, their cost is relatively low and they are suitable for routine testing.
2、 Portable and Humanized Design
Lightweight and easy to operate
Portable design: Built in rechargeable battery or supports external power supply, suitable for on-site inspection in production lines, warehouses, etc., without the need for fixed installation.
User interface: equipped with touch screen or button operation, supporting bilingual environment in Chinese and English, simplifying the parameter setting process, and allowing operators to quickly get started without complex training.
Data management: Built in storage function (up to 16GB for some models), supporting USB or Bluetooth data transfer for easy recording, analysis, and archiving of test results; Some instruments are equipped with micro printers to achieve instant printing and facilitate data traceability.
Non destructive testing and minimally invasive sampling
Puncture needle or sampling system: Extracting gas from the packaging through minimally invasive methods to avoid damaging the integrity of the sample, especially suitable for drugs that require long-term sample management (such as fluorescent patches for non-destructive testing).
Minimum sample volume: Some models only require 0.1ml of sample volume to complete the detection, reducing sample consumption.
3、 Multi functionality and scalability
Multi parameter detection capability
Simultaneous detection of headspace oxygen and dissolved oxygen: Some instruments can simultaneously measure the dissolved oxygen content in the headspace gas and liquid inside the packaging, providing more comprehensive oxygen distribution data.
Temperature and pressure automatic compensation: Real time monitoring of environmental parameters through built-in sensors, automatic correction of detection results, ensuring accuracy under different temperature and pressure conditions (such as high-temperature workshops or low-temperature warehouses).
Dual mode detection support
Non invasive testing: using fluorescent patches for non-destructive testing, suitable for long-term sample management, can detect the same sample multiple times to track changes in oxygen content.
Invasive detection: directly obtaining oxygen information inside the sample through fluorescent probes, suitable for special packaging or scenarios with higher precision requirements (such as pre filled needles, cartridges, etc.).
4、 Industry adaptability and standard compliance
Wide applicability
Compatibility of packaging forms: Supports residual oxygen detection for various types of drug packaging such as penicillin bottles, ampoules, blister packs, bags, etc., to meet different production needs.
Special environmental adaptation: The external surface design of the equipment is suitable for clean room use (with no sharp edges and smooth connection parts), making it easy to clean; Some models have anti-corrosion function and are suitable for detecting special gases or corrosive environments.
Standard compliance and data traceability
Calibration and Validation: Supports single or multi-point calibration, using air or standard gases as references to ensure that the instrument complies with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) methods and industry standards (such as GMP, FDA).
Data output format: The test results can generate standardized reports and support integration with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) or ERP systems to achieve automated data flow.
