Tension detectorThe tension sensor is an instrument used to measure the tension value of the coil, playing a key role in the tension control process.
Tension detectors can be divided into strain gauge type and micro displacement type according to their principles:
Strain gauge type: Tension strain gauges and compression strain gauges are connected together in an electric bridge manner. When subjected to external pressure, the resistance value of the strain gauge will change accordingly, and the amount of change is proportional to the magnitude of the tension applied. By using a Wheatstone bridge circuit, the resistance change is converted into a differential voltage signal, and the output signal of the bridge is linearly related to the magnitude of the tension, thus achieving quantitative measurement of force.
Micro displacement type: By applying a load with external force, the leaf spring is displaced, and then the tension is detected through a differential transformer. Due to the extremely small displacement of the leaf spring, approximately ± 200 μ m, it is also known as a micro displacement type tension detector.
According to the external structure, tension detectors can be divided into various types such as axial table, through axis, cantilever, etc. In addition, there are some specially designed tension detectors, such as S-type tension sensors, named after their S-shaped shape and commonly used to measure most of the tension and pressure of solids.
