The function of high flow pure water system
Date: 2025-08-22Read: 0
High flow pure water systemIt is a device that can continuously provide high flow and high-purity water, widely used in industries, scientific research, medical and other fields. Its core function is to remove impurities, ions, microorganisms and other pollutants from water through multi-stage purification technology, ensuring that the water quality meets the strict requirements of specific scenarios. The following is its specific function and value analysis:
1、 Core function: Provide stable and high-purity water source
Deep purification of water quality
Multi stage filtration: removing large particle impurities such as suspended solids, organic matter, and residual chlorine through pre-treatment methods such as sand filtration, carbon filtration, and fine filtration.
Ion exchange: Using resin to remove cations such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, and anions such as chloride and sulfate ions from water, reducing conductivity (usually ≤ 0.1 μ S/cm).
Reverse osmosis (RO): It uses a semi permeable membrane to retain over 95% of dissolved salts, bacteria, and viruses, further purifying water quality.
Terminal processing: UV sterilization, ultrafiltration (UF), or electrodeionization (EDI) technology is used to ensure that the water quality meets the standard of ultrapure water (resistivity ≥ 18.2M Ω· cm).
Continuous supply of high traffic
The system design flow rate usually ranges from a few cubic meters per hour to several hundred cubic meters per hour, which can meet the needs of large-scale production or experiments, and avoid production interruptions or experimental errors caused by insufficient water volume.
2、 Key application scenarios and value
1. Industrial manufacturing field
Semiconductor and Electronics Industry
Used for wafer cleaning, photoresist coating, chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) and other processes to prevent impurity contamination from causing a decrease in chip yield.
For example, a 12 inch wafer fab requires a pure water flow rate of 500-1000m ³/day and a resistivity of ≥ 18M Ω· cm.
power industry
As boiler feedwater, it prevents scale deposition, improves thermal efficiency, and extends equipment life.
For example, supercritical units have extremely high requirements for water quality and need to control the silica content to be ≤ 10 μ g/L.
Pharmaceutical and Bioengineering
Used for drug preparation, cell culture, aseptic filling and other processes to ensure compliance with GMP standards.
For example, the water for injection (WFI) system must meet the requirements of USP<1231>purified water, with a total organic carbon (TOC) of ≤ 500ppb.
2. Research and laboratory fields
chemical analysis
Provide high-purity solvents to avoid impurities interfering with chromatographic, spectroscopic, and other detection results.
For example, liquid chromatography (HPLC) requires the use of pure water with a resistivity of ≥ 1M Ω· cm.
Life Science Experiment
Used for cell culture, DNA extraction, protein purification, etc., to prevent microbial or endotoxin contamination.
For example, mammalian cell culture requires the use of pure water with endotoxin content<0.25EU/mL.
3. Medical and public health fields
hemodialysis
Prepare dialysis water to remove metal ions such as calcium, magnesium, and aluminum, in order to prevent patients from developing hard water syndrome.
For example, the American AAMI standard requires the conductivity of dialysis water to be ≤ 10 μ S/cm and the total bacterial count to be<100 CFU/mL.
Operating Room and Disinfection Supply Center
Provide sterile pure water for instrument cleaning and endoscope disinfection to reduce the risk of infection.
3、 System advantage: Balance of efficiency, cost, and environmental protection
high operating efficiency
Automated control (such as PLC+touch screen) enables 24-hour continuous operation, reducing manual intervention.
Modular design supports rapid expansion and adapts to changes in production scale.
Long term low cost
The lifespan of reverse osmosis membranes can reach 3-5 years, with a long resin regeneration cycle and reduced frequency of consumable replacement.
Water saving design (such as concentrated water recycling) reduces water resource waste and conforms to the trend of green manufacturing.
Environmental compliance
Meet the requirements of ISO 14001 environmental management system and ensure that wastewater discharge complies with local environmental standards.
To avoid production accidents or legal risks caused by substandard water quality.
