Electric flange gate valve is an industrial valve controlled by an electric actuator for opening and closing, widely used in fields such as petroleum, chemical, and power. Electric flange gate valve is a type of valve that is driven by an electric actuator and installed in a pipeline system through flange connection. It uses the lifting and lowering of the gate to achieve the on/off or flow regulation of pipeline media (liquid, gas, solid particle slurry, etc.), and is widely used in industrial fields such as petrochemicals, water treatment, power, and municipal engineering. Its core advantages lie in "remote automation control", "large-diameter high-pressure applicability", and "stable sealing performance", making it a key equipment for achieving automated control of medium transportation in industrial pipeline systems. Structure and Working Principle
Structural composition: The electric flange gate valve is mainly composed of valve body, valve cover, valve stem, valve seat, electric actuator and other parts. The valve body and valve cover are connected by flanges, and the valve stem is connected to the electric actuator. The opening and closing status of the valve is controlled by controlling the opening and closing of the electric actuator.
Working principle: When the electric actuator receives a control signal, the internal motor will rotate, driving the valve stem to move up and down, thereby achieving the opening and closing of the valve.
Types and classifications
Divided by driving mode:
Angular stroke electric valve: It is used in conjunction with an angular stroke electric actuator to control the fluid flow in the pipeline by rotating the valve within 90 degrees.
Straight stroke electric valve: It is used in conjunction with a straight stroke valve by a straight stroke electric actuator to control the fluid flow in the pipeline through the up and down movement of the valve plate.
Divided by structural form:
Wedge type elastic gate structure: equipped with thrust bearings for medium and large diameters, with low friction, and equipped with manual impact for easy opening and closing.
Rigid wedge single valve plate and double gate type: suitable for different working conditions.
Installation specifications:
The valve needs to be installed vertically (the lifting direction of the gate should be perpendicular to the ground to avoid loose valve closure caused by the weight of the gate), and the pipeline axis should be aligned with the valve axis (deviation ≤ 0.5mm to prevent deformation of the valve body under stress);
When connecting flanges, the bolts should be tightened symmetrically and evenly (in diagonal order to avoid uneven pressure on the local sealing surface causing leakage), and the bolt torque should meet the standard;
Electric actuators should be kept away from high-temperature heat sources (such as steam pipelines) and installed in a location that is easy to operate and maintain (with a handwheel height of 1.2-1.5m). When wiring, distinguish between "power lines" (motor power supply) and "signal lines" (control and feedback) to avoid interference.
