As a commonly used concentration and separation equipment in laboratories and industrial fields, the stable operation of electric lift evaporators is crucial for experimental or production efficiency. The following are the diagnosis and troubleshooting methods for common faults:
1、 Lifting system malfunction
Phenomenon: The device cannot be lifted or lifted normally or is stuck.
Diagnosis:
Power supply issue: Check whether the power cord is loose or damaged, whether the power switch is turned on, and ensure that the power supply is normal.
Transmission device malfunction: If the power supply is normal, check whether the synchronous belt, gears and other transmission components are worn or blocked. For example, the aging of synchronous belts may lead to transmission failure and require timely replacement.
Protection device triggering: Check whether the overload protection and limit protection devices are triggered due to overload or collision, and reset or adjust the load.
2、 Rotating system malfunction
Phenomenon: The rotating bottle cannot rotate or the speed is unstable.
Diagnosis:
Drive device malfunction: The motor is damaged or the frequency converter is subjected to high-frequency interference (such as displaying "O.U."), and the motor needs to be replaced or the interference needs to be eliminated according to the instructions.
Damaged transmission components: Check if the coupling, bearings, etc. are worn and need to be repaired or replaced. For example, rusting of bearings may increase rotational resistance and require lubrication or replacement.
3、 Vacuum system malfunction
Phenomenon: Insufficient vacuum degree or inability to evacuate.
Diagnosis:
Seal aging: Check whether the sealing ring and vacuum grease are aging or improperly installed. Replace the seal and apply vacuum grease.
Vacuum pump issue: Vacuum pump oil contamination or reduced capacity, requiring oil replacement or cleaning for maintenance. For example, long-term neglect of the oil pump may lead to a decrease in vacuum level.
Pipeline leakage: Check whether the vacuum pipeline and joints are loose or damaged, and tighten or replace them.
4、 Bath pot malfunction
Phenomenon: The bath pot is not heated or the temperature is out of control.
Diagnosis:
Heating element damage: Check if the heating coil and solid-state relay are burnt out and need to be replaced.
Temperature controller malfunction: If the temperature controller displays abnormal information (such as "OVER" or "000"), the probe or temperature controller needs to be replaced.
Power supply issue: Check if the power supply is stable to avoid damage to the heating plate caused by dry burning without water.
5、 Water leakage issue
Phenomenon: Water leakage at the connection or sealing parts of the equipment.
Diagnosis:
Seal damage: Check if the sealing ring and glass grinding mouth are aging or improperly installed. Replace the seal and apply vacuum grease.
Loose connection: Check if all interfaces are tightened to avoid long-term locking that may cause the connectors to bite.
Daily maintenance suggestions
Regular inspection: Check transmission components, seals, and power lines monthly, and replace aging components in a timely manner.
Cleaning and maintenance: Clean the bath pot, rotating bottle, and condenser tube after each use to avoid residual corrosion of the equipment.
Standardized operation: Avoid overloading operation, ensure that the rotating bottle is fixed during lifting to prevent collision damage.
