The in-situ freeze dryer needs to rapidly freeze the material to be processed in a low-temperature environment during the freezing stage, so that the moisture in it forms a uniform ice crystal structure. This step ensures the smooth progress of the subsequent sublimation process and helps maintain the original form and structure of the material. By providing appropriate heat through a heating system, frozen ice crystals can be directly transformed from solid to gas (i.e. sublimated), bypassing the liquid phase. During this process, a vacuum state below freezing point is maintained inside the equipment to lower the boiling point of water and accelerate the dehydration process. At the same time, a vacuum environment is also conducive to the rapid discharge of water vapor. As the ice crystals gradually sublime into water vapor, these gases are extracted and discharged from the chamber, thus completing the drying of the material. The entire process is carried out in a closed system, effectively preventing the risk of external pollution and cross contamination.
Precautions for using in-situ freeze dryer:
1. Installation and environmental requirements
-Stable placement of equipment: Ensure that the freeze-drying machine is placed on a stable ground, avoiding vibration and tilting, to ensure the stability and normal operation of the equipment.
-Power safety inspection: Check whether the power supply meets the specifications and has been correctly grounded to avoid equipment damage or operational accidents caused by unstable voltage.
2. Equipment cleaning and maintenance
-Regular cleaning of components: Before use, the internal cavity, tray, and sealing ring of the freeze-drying machine should be cleaned. They can be wiped with 75% alcohol or a suitable disinfectant to prevent sample contamination and affect equipment performance.
3. Sample pretreatment
-Pre frozen sample: Pre freeze the sample to a suitable temperature to ensure that the structure of the sample is not damaged during the freeze-drying process, thereby achieving better freeze-drying results.
4. Emergency response measures
-Power outage response strategy: In the event of a power outage, for certain specific models of equipment (such as vacuum pumps placed on the ground at a certain height difference from the host), the inflation valve should be immediately turned on to inflate the host, and the sample should be taken out as soon as possible to avoid sample damage or other safety issues.
5. Follow the operating standards
-Strictly follow the procedures: operate according to the equipment manual and operating instructions, and do not arbitrarily change the set parameters or skip necessary steps to ensure the accuracy of the experiment and the normal service life of the equipment.
-Monitoring operation status: During the operation of the equipment, closely monitor the operation status of the equipment, such as changes in temperature, vacuum degree, and other indicators. If there are any abnormalities, timely measures should be taken to solve them.
