7The China Chemical Express Forum on Analytical Chemistry Frontiers, hosted by China Chemical Express and sponsored by Shimadzu, was successfully held in Xining from August 20th to 24th. Chinese Chemical Letters is a core journal of natural sciences in China, with the aim of being "new, fast, and accurate", timely reflecting new developments and hot issues in various related fields of chemistry. The theme of this conference is analytical chemistry. More than 40 experts from universities and research institutes across the country participated in this conference, with a total of 22 experts giving presentations.

In the opening speech of the forum by Guo Huanfang, editor in chief of China Chemical Express, Professor Lin Jinming from Tsinghua University and Manager Yang Guixiang from Shimadzu Analytical Testing Instrument Marketing Department respectively delivered speeches.Professor Lin Jinming first presented a conference report titled "Research on Microfluidic Chip Mass Spectrometry Combined with Cell Drug Metabolism Analysis Method". In his speech, he emphasized the use of Shimadzu mass spectrometry for analysis and affirmed the support of Shimadzu equipment and Shimadzu company in cooperation. Professor Lin Jinming's presentation became a highlight of the forum. On the forum,Dr. Song Yuting from the Market Department of Shimadzu Corporation's Analytical Testing Instruments presented the analytical techniques and new developments of Shimadzu XPS in scientific research. She introduced the various functions of XPS, such as angular resolution, which can be applied to many experts' research on materials, obtaining molecular structure information and depth information of materials. This aroused great interest among the attending experts.

The conference has always been permeated with a strong academic atmosphere, with in-depth discussions and exchanges. The attending experts have expressed that they have indeed gained a lot of cutting-edge information, inspired by each other's publications, and even accepted some suggestions as the next experimental plan. On the evening of the 21st, Minister Hamada, the head of the Shimadzu Mass Spectrometry Center, delivered a speech at the dinner, thanking all the teachers for their wonderful reports and years of support to Shimadzu.
