The usage method of the portable multifunctional pump ammonia analyzer is as follows:
1、 Preparation before use
Read the instruction manual: Carefully read the user manual attached to the instrument to understand its functions, operating methods, and precautions. Different brands and models of ammonia analyzers may have differences, so it is crucial to be familiar with the operating instructions for specific equipment.
Check the instrument:
Check whether the appearance of the instrument is intact, whether the battery or power supply is sufficient, and whether the sensor is clean and unobstructed.
Confirm that the instrument has been calibrated and is within its validity period.
Safety preparation: Wear personal protective equipment such as goggles, masks, and gloves to ensure safe operation. Avoid using instruments in flammable, explosive, or high concentration ammonia environments.
2、 Operation steps
Power on:
According to the instructions in the manual, turn on the power switch of the ammonia analyzer.
Some instruments may need to be preheated for a period of time to reach their optimal working condition, please be patient.
Set parameters:
Set the measurement range, alarm threshold, data recording interval and other parameters of the instrument according to actual needs. The setting of these parameters will directly affect the accuracy of measurement results and the effectiveness of instrument use.
For example, under occupational health and safety requirements, the alarm point set for ammonia concentration cannot exceed 25ppm; If it is animal husbandry, it is recommended not to exceed 10ppm.
Zero point calibration:
Perform zero calibration in a clean and ammonia free environment to ensure accurate readings of the instrument in an ammonia free state. Zero calibration is an important step before using an instrument, which helps eliminate errors in the instrument itself.
Sampling:
Place the sampling probe of the instrument in the environment to be tested, ensuring that the probe is in full contact with the gas. For a pump suction ammonia analyzer, it is necessary to ensure that the sampling pump is working properly and the gas sample is drawn into the sensor head inside the instrument for detection.
Be careful to avoid physical damage or contamination to the probe, do not inhale foreign objects into the detector, and do not block the air nozzle.
reading:
After the instrument stabilizes, read the ammonia concentration value on the display screen. Some instruments also have data recording functions, which can automatically record measurement data for subsequent analysis.
3、 Precautions for use
Avoid over range measurement: During normal use, over range measurement should be avoided, otherwise it may cause sensor poisoning, inability to recover after overload, decreased sensitivity, and increased zero drift.
Pay attention to the usage environment: Ammonia gas detectors are mostly based on electrochemical principles. It is important to avoid high temperature, high humidity, and high pressure environments when using them. Otherwise, it is easy to cause damage to the sensor or damage to the internal sampling pipeline of the instrument.
Avoid severe shaking: During the use or storage of the instrument, severe shaking should be avoided, and precision instruments should be handled with care.
Regular calibration: According to the instructions, calibrate the ammonia analyzer regularly to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results. The calibration cycle depends on the frequency of instrument use and environmental conditions. It is recommended to calibrate the accuracy of the detector once every 3-6 months using ammonia standard gas.
Cleaning and maintenance: Regularly clean the sampling probe and sensor of the instrument to avoid contamination such as dust and oil from affecting measurement accuracy. At the same time, check whether the battery or power supply of the instrument is sufficient, and replace or charge it in a timely manner.
4、 Shutdown and Storage
Shutdown: After the detection is completed, first turn off the sampling pump (for pump suction ammonia analyzer), and then press the shutdown button to shut down the ammonia analyzer.
Storage: When not in use, the instrument should be stored in a dry, ventilated, and non corrosive gas environment. During transportation, severe vibrations and collisions should be avoided to prevent damage to the instrument.
