In B-end scenarios such as industrial manufacturing, third-party quality inspection, and material research and development, electronic universal testing machines serve as the core equipment for material mechanical performance testing, and their testing accuracy directly affects the accuracy of product quality assessment and the reliability of research and development data. Long term high-intensity operation of equipment, coupled with environmental factors and non-standard operating procedures, can easily lead to malfunctions and shutdowns. A systematic maintenance plan is a key measure for enterprises to reduce operation and maintenance costs and ensure production and testing continuity. Starting from the four core modules, this article provides a device lifecycle operation and maintenance solution for B-end users.
1、 Daily maintenance: Consolidate the foundation for stable operation of equipment
Daily maintenance needs to be included in the enterprise equipment management standards and carried out by on-site operators on a daily/weekly basis, with a focus on four key operations:
Cleaning and maintenance: After daily testing, wipe the body shell, workbench, and fixture components with a dry and clean cloth. If there is any residual oil (such as after testing oily materials), use a neutral cleaning agent to remove it. It is strictly prohibited to use corrosive solvents; Regularly open the electrical control cabinet every week and use compressed air with a pressure not exceeding 0.4MPa to blow away internal dust. Focus on cleaning the power module and fan filter. After cleaning, ensure that the cabinet door is tightly sealed to prevent moisture from entering.
Lubrication and maintenance: For every 200 hours of cumulative operation of the screw components, NLGI grade 2 lithium based special lubricating grease needs to be applied. The guide rail slider should be lubricated monthly, and old grease residue should be removed before application; After application, start the equipment and run it without load for 1-2 strokes to ensure that the lubricating grease evenly covers the friction surface. Do not replace the special lubricating grease with ordinary mechanical oil to avoid accelerating component wear due to oil film failure.
Pre startup inspection: Before starting the device daily, check the tightness of the power cord connection, the contact status of the data cable interface, and the sensitivity of the emergency stop button; Check the tightening of fixture bolts and the integrity of the clamping surface every week. If there are any signs of clamping slipping, they should be dealt with in a timely manner; Verify the levelness of the equipment workbench with a spirit level every month to ensure that the deviation is controlled within 0.1mm/m and to avoid vibration affecting sensor accuracy.
Operation and maintenance records: Establish a "Equipment Daily Operation and Maintenance Record Form" to provide detailed records of maintenance dates, personnel, equipment numbers, specific maintenance contents, and abnormal situations, including details such as noise and data fluctuations during equipment operation, providing traceable basis for subsequent maintenance and troubleshooting.
2、 Regular maintenance: Accurately check according to the cycle to avoid hidden faults
Based on the actual frequency of equipment usage, develop quarterly, semi annual, and annual three-level maintenance plans. It is recommended to collaborate with equipment manufacturers or professional operation and maintenance organizations to implement:
Quarterly maintenance focus: Use standard force measuring devices to calibrate the force sensor, ensuring that the error does not exceed ± 1%; Check for abnormal noise during the operation of the screw bearing and the tightness of the synchronous belt, and replace aging sealing rings and worn fixture accessories in a timely manner.
Half year maintenance content: testing the stability of input power supply voltage (in compliance with 220V ± 10% standard) and circuit safety; Clean the dust from the servo motor cooling fan and check the operation status of the fan; Backup device testing software data and parameter settings. If the manufacturer releases an optimized version, complete the upgrade and verify software and hardware compatibility under the guidance of technical personnel.
Annual maintenance process: Disassemble the core components of the equipment, evaluate the wear condition of key components such as lead screws, guide rails, and sensors one by one, and replace sensors with precision deviations and deformed lead screws; After reassembly, conduct no-load operation testing and standard sample testing, comprehensively re evaluate equipment performance, and ultimately form a complete annual maintenance report.
3、 Emergency response plan for common faults
Abnormal fluctuation of force data: first tighten the sensor installation bolts and clean the moisture and oxide layer of the wiring terminals; Adjust the clamping pressure of the fixture to ensure that the sample is firmly clamped without sliding; Re calibrate the device's levelness and adjust the software sampling frequency to 100Hz or higher to improve data acquisition accuracy.
Equipment operation is stuck and the speed does not meet the standard: clean the impurities on the surface of the screw and reapply lubricating grease, check whether the synchronous belt has problems such as breakage and tooth wear, and adjust the tension of the pulley in a timely manner; Check the balance of the three-phase winding resistance of the servo motor (deviation should be ≤ 5%). If the parameters are abnormal, repair the motor and restore the default parameter settings of the driver.
No response when starting up and indicator light off: Check the connection status of the power cord and whether the circuit breaker in the distribution box has tripped, eliminate the short circuit problem, and then close it again; Check if the emergency stop button is reset, use a multimeter to detect the output voltage of the power module, and replace the power module if the output is zero; If the motherboard does not respond, please contact the manufacturer's technical personnel for on-site repair.
Conclusion
For B2B enterprises, the maintenance of electronic universal testing machines is not simply equipment maintenance, but also an implicit competitive advantage in ensuring production efficiency and testing quality. It is recommended that enterprises establish a full process operation and maintenance system of "daily maintenance+regular inspection+emergency response" based on their own production scale and testing needs, clarify job responsibilities, and truly achieve the operation and maintenance goal of "replacing maintenance with repair". If encountering complex technical failures, you can directly connect with the equipment manufacturer to obtain on-site maintenance and technical training services, so that the equipment can continue to provide stable support for production testing work.
