  Intelligent COD reflux digestion instrumentIt is a high-precision experimental equipment used to determine the chemical oxygen demand (COD) of water quality. Based on the potassium dichromate oxidation method, organic matter in water samples undergoes oxidation-reduction reactions with strong oxidants (potassium dichromate) under high temperature (150-170 ℃) and acidic conditions, generating CO ₂ and H ₂ O. At the same time, hexavalent chromium (Cr ⁶⁺) is reduced to trivalent chromium (Cr ³ ⁺). Calculate the chemical oxygen demand (COD) in the water sample by measuring the consumption of oxidants before and after the reaction.
Performance characteristics:
1. Efficiency: Multiple samples can be digested simultaneously, with a typical batch size of 10 or 12, greatly improving detection efficiency.
2. Accuracy: The intelligent temperature control system and accurate time control ensure that the digestion process meets standard requirements, with high measurement accuracy. For a 500mg/L potassium hydrogen phthalate standard solution, the relative standard deviation is ≤ 5.0%.
3. Safety: Adopting air cooling technology instead of full water cooling not only saves water resources, but also enhances the safety of use, avoiding possible water leakage and other problems that may occur with water cooling.
4. Easy to operate: touch screen operation, intuitive interface, free setting of digestion time, temperature and other parameters, automatic power off after digestion, achieving unmanned operation.
Precautions for operation:
The oxidation reflux of water samples should be carried out in a fume hood to prevent the volatilization of concentrated sulfuric acid and potassium dichromate from endangering health.
After digestion is complete, wait for the sample to cool to below 60 ℃ before removing it to avoid burns.
