Portable ICP-OES, with its portability, rapid detection, and multi-element analysis capabilities, has achieved real-time on-site detection in multiple fields.

1、 Environmental monitoring and emergency detection

1. Water quality and wastewater testing

Application scenarios: On site monitoring of rivers, lakes, groundwater, industrial wastewater, and drinking water sources.

Testing objects: heavy metals (such as lead, cadmium, mercury, chromium, arsenic), metal ions (copper, zinc, iron, manganese), rare earth elements, etc.

Advantages: No need for complex pre-processing, rapid analysis of water samples can be conducted directly, suitable for on-site emergency detection of sudden water pollution accidents (such as heavy metal leaks), and timely identification of pollution sources.

2. Soil and sediment analysis

Application scenarios: Investigation of heavy metal pollution in farmland soil, monitoring of soil around mining areas, and leakage detection of solid waste landfills.

Testing objects: soil pollutants such as lead, cadmium, nickel, arsenic, etc., to evaluate the effectiveness of soil remediation.

Advantages: Direct analysis after on-site sampling, avoiding contamination or compositional changes during sample transportation, and improving detection efficiency.

3. Composition analysis of atmospheric particulate matter (PM2.5/PM10)

Application scenario: Detection of metal elements (such as vanadium, nickel, and lead) in industrial exhaust gas and particulate matter from automobile exhaust, assisting in tracing atmospheric pollution sources.

2、 Industrial Production and Quality Control

1. Analysis of Metal and Alloy Composition

Application scenarios: Raw material acceptance, casting composition testing, and waste recycling classification on production lines for steel, aluminum alloys, copper alloys, and other materials.

Test object: Determine the content of alloy elements such as carbon, silicon, manganese, chromium, nickel, etc. to determine whether they meet the standards (such as stainless steel grade identification).

Advantages: No need for sample preparation (can directly detect solid surfaces), component data can be generated within seconds, supports online real-time quality monitoring, and reduces waste rate.

2. Testing of Electronic and Semiconductor Materials

Application scenario: Detection of trace metal pollutants (such as iron, copper, zinc) on the surface of semiconductor wafers and electronic components to avoid impurities affecting device performance.

3. Petroleum and Chemical Industry

Application scenarios: Detection of metal additives (such as barium, magnesium, zinc) or pollutants (such as vanadium, nickel) in crude oil, lubricating oil, and fuel oil to evaluate oil quality and equipment wear.

3、 Geological Exploration and Mineral Development

1. Rapid analysis of field ores

Application scenario: Real time analysis of the elemental composition of ore samples (such as iron ore, copper ore, rare earth ore) in geological exploration sites to determine the grade and mining value of mineral veins.

Testing objects: iron, copper, aluminum, rare earth elements (lanthanum, cerium, neodymium), etc., to assist in mineral resource survey and exploration route planning.

Advantages: Replace traditional laboratory analysis, reduce sample transportation and waiting time, and improve exploration efficiency.

2. Monitoring of mineral processing process

Application scenario: Detection of slurry composition after ore crushing and flotation in beneficiation plants, optimization of beneficiation process parameters.

  4、 Food Safety and Agriculture

1. Heavy metal detection in food and agricultural products

Application scenario: Rapid screening of harmful elements such as lead, cadmium, mercury, etc. in vegetables, fruits, grains, and aquatic products, suitable for market sampling and farm traceability.

Advantages: On site testing avoids delays in sample submission and promptly blocks the circulation of unqualified products.

2. Soil and fertilizer nutrient analysis

Application scenario: Detection of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and trace elements (calcium, magnesium, iron) in agricultural soil to guide precise fertilization; Monitoring of heavy metal impurities (such as arsenic and cadmium) in fertilizers.

  Core strengths

Quick on-site response: No need for complex laboratory environments, test results can be issued within 10 seconds to minutes, suitable for emergency or field scenarios.

Multi element simultaneous analysis: One detection can cover dozens of elements (such as most metal elements in the periodic table), with higher efficiency than traditional single element detection methods.

Portable and low-power: With a size similar to a laptop, it supports battery power and is suitable for mobile scenarios such as outdoor use and production lines.

Strong compatibility: capable of detecting various sample forms such as solids, liquids, powders, etc. (requiring different sampling attachments).

With the development of technology, the detection limit (up to ppm to ppb level) and stability of portable devices are constantly improving, gradually replacing traditional laboratory analysis in more fields and becoming an important tool for rapid on-site detection.
