Handheld lithium ore analyzers can provide real-time quantitative mineralogical information for geologists, metallurgists, and others. Geological explorers can use on-site analysis data from equipment to make accurate decisions immediately, while metallurgists can use portable beryllium ore analysis data to provide efficient purification and refining processes, which is beneficial for improving the lithium recovery rate of lithium ore.

The Weijingyan series of ores are rich in lithium elements. The table below provides common lithium rich rock ores, and portable LIBS can identify and quantitatively analyze the content of lithium rock ores. Quantitative analysis of minerals can help geologists calculate the concentration of lithium element through reverse calculation of chemical molecular formula. The LIBS analysis of lithium oxide content shown in Figure 1 has a very good correlation with laboratory analysis results.
