In industries with strict cleanliness requirements such as pharmaceuticals, electronics, and food processing, touch screen dust particle counters are the core equipment for monitoring environmental dust particle concentrations. The accuracy of their data directly affects product quality, production safety, and compliance. However, during long-term use, the detection accuracy of the equipment is prone to deviation due to environmental factors, mechanical wear, component aging, and other factors. Therefore, establishing a scientific regular calibration and maintenance system has become a key link in ensuring the stable operation of equipment and the authenticity and reliability of data.

Regular calibration is the foundation for maintaining the detection accuracy of touch screen dust particle counters. The core performance indicators of a dust particle counter include counting efficiency, particle size accuracy, flow stability, etc., which may drift over time. According to national standards such as JJF1190-2008 Dust Particle Counter Calibration Specification, the equipment needs to undergo professional calibration at least once every 12 months. If used in critical production processes or frequently used, the calibration cycle should be shortened to 6 months. The calibration process needs to be carried out by a third-party organization with CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment) qualifications. By comparing the equipment with the standard particles of known concentration and particle size generated by the standard particle generator, the counting deviation can be corrected; Simultaneously calibrate the sampling flow rate to ensure that the sampling volume per unit time meets the detection requirements - if the flow deviation exceeds ± 5%, it will directly lead to significant errors in the counting results, affecting the determination of cleanliness level.
Daily maintenance is an important means of extending equipment lifespan and preventing malfunctions, and should be carried out throughout the entire lifecycle of equipment use. Firstly, as the core of human-computer interaction, the touch screen needs to be cleaned daily: use a dust-free cloth dipped in a special cleaning agent to gently wipe it, avoiding dust and oil stains from adhering and affecting the sensitivity of operation, while preventing liquids from infiltrating the device and damaging the circuit. Secondly, the maintenance of the sampling system is crucial: the sampling port and sampling tube are prone to accumulating dust, and need to be disassembled weekly and blown back with compressed air (pressure ≤ 0.3MPa). The inner wall of the sampling tube should be soaked and cleaned with isopropanol every month to avoid residual particles interfering with subsequent testing; If cracks or aging are found in the sampling tube, it should be replaced immediately to prevent data distortion caused by external air infiltration. In addition, the filtering system of the equipment needs to be regularly inspected. The pre filter should be replaced every 3 months, and the high-efficiency filter should be replaced every year to ensure that the air entering the sensor has removed large particle impurities and protected the laser sensor from wear and tear.
It is worth noting that calibration and maintenance need to form a closed-loop management. After each calibration, the correction factors in the calibration report should be entered into the equipment system to ensure that the correction values are automatically applied during testing; Simultaneously record calibration results and maintenance time, establish equipment files for easy traceability of historical data. If abnormal data fluctuations are found in daily use (such as multiple detection results at the same location with a deviation of more than 10%), the use should be immediately suspended, and priority should be given to investigating whether it is caused by inadequate maintenance (such as sampling tube blockage or filter failure). If the abnormality persists after elimination, calibration should be carried out in advance to avoid production risks caused by data errors.
The accuracy of touch screen dust particle counters is not fixed, but relies on continuous regular calibration and standardized maintenance. Only by incorporating both into the daily management system can we ensure that the equipment is always in the best working condition, provide reliable data support for clean environment monitoring in various industries, and thus ensure product quality and production safety.
