Abstract: Using hydrochloric acid nitric acid mixed acid digestion of samples, eight common rare earth elements including neodymium, praseodymium, samarium, gadolinium, dysprosium, europium, lanthanum, and erbium in rare earth permanent magnets were determined by domestic ICP-AES. The test results were accurate, reliable, and highly precise. Through a series of verification experiments, the determination wavelengths of eight rare earth elements were optimized, and the effects of iron neodymium matrix and acid concentration on the test results were discussed.
