Usage and maintenance methods of combustible gas alarm
Date: 2017-07-12Read: 1

Combustible gas alarmCatalytic fuel sensors are commonly used. Under normal use, the sensitivity of the sensor naturally decreases by 10% to 30% annually, and its lifespan is generally (3 to 5) years. Therefore, the alarm needs to be calibrated regularly every year. During installation, as the position of the fixed combustible gas alarm will not easily change once it is installed, the detection range is already fixed. Therefore, the influencing factors should be fully considered during installation.

Combustible gas alarm is a gas leak detection and alarm instrument. When combustible or toxic gases leak in industrial environments, and the gas alarm detects that the gas concentration reaches the critical point set by the explosion or poisoning alarm, the combustible gas alarm will issue an alarm signal to remind workers to take safety measures and drive exhaust, cut-off, and sprinkler systems to prevent explosions, fires, and poisoning accidents, thereby ensuring safe production.
Usage and maintenance methods of combustible gas alarm:
Combustible gas alarmThere are many types and models, but the basic circuit principles are the same, so their usage and maintenance methods are also quite similar. The methods of use and maintenance are introduced as follows:
(1) The service life of detection and compensation components is usually 3-5 years. Under reasonable usage conditions and proper maintenance, its service life can be extended.
(2) For alarm devices with a test button, the test button should be pressed once a week to check if the alarm system is functioning properly. The zero point and range of the alarm should be checked and calibrated every two months.
(3) The detector should be checked regularly for accidental water ingress. The breathable cover of the detector should be removed and cleaned during instrument testing to prevent blockage.
(4) The detector is an explosion-proof device and must not be used beyond the specified range. The detector shall not be used in sulfur-containing environments. The detector should be used as much as possible under conditions where the concentration of combustible gas is below the lower explosive limit, otherwise it may burn out the components.
(5) Semiconductor detectors should not be used under hypoxic conditions. Do not use a large number of combustible gas direct injection probes.
The broad prospects, rapid development, and relatively advanced level of the combustible gas alarm industry have also attracted high attention from related industrial instruments and meters. Some industrial instruments and meters quickly adjust direction and interveneCombustible gas alarmThe industry and market competition are becoming increasingly fierce.
