Laser 3D printerIt is an additive manufacturing equipment that uses laser as an energy source to selectively solidify liquid photosensitive resin or sinter/melt powder materials (such as plastics and metals) layer by layer to construct three-dimensional objects.
Laser 3D printerIt is mainly divided into two categories: light curing (SLA/DLP) and powder sintering (SLS/SLM). The basic process includes four stages: modeling, layering, printing, and post-processing. Firstly, users design a 3D model using CAD software and export it in STL or OBJ format. The software then cuts the model into thin layers and generates 2D contour data for each layer. Then enter the printing process, the photopolymerization printer uses a laser beam to scan the surface of the liquid resin according to the contour, triggering a photopolymerization reaction to solidify the current layer. The lifting platform descends one layer, the scraper flattens the resin again, and continues to scan the next layer until completion; The powder sintering printer uniformly lays a thin layer of powder in the forming cylinder through a powder laying roller, and high-energy laser scans the contour to melt or sinter the powder particles. The forming cylinder descends, and the powder supply cylinder rises, circulating the powder laying and sintering. After printing, the UV cured parts need to be cleaned with alcohol and undergo secondary UV curing to improve strength. The metal parts need to remove the support and undergo heat treatment to eliminate internal stress.
Advantage:
1. High precision: The focusing ability of the laser beam enables printing accuracy to reach the micrometer level, ensuring the precision and complexity of the product.
2. Fast speed: Compared with traditional manufacturing methods, the production speed is faster, which can greatly shorten the production cycle.
3. Wide range of materials: It can print various materials such as metal, plastic, ceramics, etc., providing more possibilities for innovative design.
