What is the maintenance cycle for a microjet homogenizer
Date: 2025-11-27Read: 2
Experimental micro jet homogenizerBy using ultra-high pressure microjet technology and utilizing the shear, impact, and cavitation effects generated by diamond interaction cavities, materials can be efficiently processed to the nanometer level (up to 100nm or below). This device has the characteristics of low sample contamination risk, hygienic design, modular flexible configuration, etc. The minimum sample processing capacity can reach 5ml, making it particularly suitable for research and small-scale production in the fields of pharmaceuticals (liposomes, nanomedicines), biotechnology, new materials (graphene, conductive slurries), etc.
Core principle: Adopting ultra-high pressure microjet technology, utilizing the high-speed shear, impact, cavitation and other forces generated by diamond interaction cavities to process materials at the nanoscale.
Key advantages: nanoscale dispersed emulsification, low risk of sample contamination, hygienic design, modular and flexible configuration, high safety.
Typical application areas: pharmaceuticals (liposomes, nanomedicine delivery systems), biotechnology, conductive slurries, graphene dispersion, cosmetics, food.
The maintenance cycle of the microjet homogenizer is as follows:
Daily maintenance: Clean the equipment after daily work, check the oil level, pressure, and sealing.
Regular maintenance: Check the wear of fasteners and transmission components every month, and replace lubricating oil (once every 1-2 months).
Annual maintenance: Thoroughly clean the crankcase and oil filter every six months, replace all vulnerable parts, and re calibrate the equipment.
Attention should be paid during maintenance:
Clean immediately after use to prevent material residue from corroding parts.
Lubrication requires selecting oil according to the season (using No. 19 compressor oil in summer and No. 13 in winter).
Long term disuse requires thorough disinfection and emptying of pipelines.
